Does anyone know or have any experience with the width of rails playing differently than others? Let's say that you play on one table that has wide rails and it plays one way and you play on another table made by the same manufacturer and they say it's the same rubber and felt, but it plays shorter/longer than the other.
I was thinking that it might make a slight difference along with the way the rails are bolted down, some are bolted through the slate and others are fastened on the side and not through the slate. If the rails give a little bit it would play differently than one that is fastened more solidly wouldn't it?
Please help me shed some light on this if possible, thank you guys/girls.
