Raist was a close friend of mine and I miss him a great deal. I bought this from him (along with other cues) when he was at the latter stages of his terrible illness.

Jim White has since replaced the 3/8-10 ivorine joint with piloted ivory and a 5/16-14 pin. Two new shafts were made also.

The cue is a fitting tribute to such a great man who was so well respected on and off AZBilliards. A rare cue made for that rarest of individuals.

RIP Raist, you are the Titlist Master.

I spoke with Raist a few times via PMs. He was a super nice guy with a lot of knowledge and a helluva collection of titlists. And this one is perfect!!!

I bought the one of the two Titlist Bert made for him.

Raist was a great guy - hope they got AZ or something like it in heaven.

That's a stunning cue with a lot of character! I didn't know Raist, but I have read a lot on the forum about titlists and he sure was a great guy.
 
Beautiful cue! I love the butterfly. And the oak is the very best part.

I never had a chance to communicate with Raist but he must have been loved by many.
