Why are rakes as long as a cue stick?
I prefer a much shorter version, easier to maneuver and lift up.
What I do is attach my grommet ended traditional rake head to my jump stick.

Take it off, it's just twisted in to a rubber grommet on the $7 plastic/traditional rake head.

They sell adjustable telescopic bridges
I have one of those. It fits in my accessories pouch on the side of my case. Mine came with three heads of various shapes typical of snooker rests. It is much nicer than most house bridges. I think mine was $20 or so with all three heads. By contrast, a single wooden bridge handle costs $20.

I think bridges need to be as long as a cue stick to reach shots on a nine foot table.

kidding but what if you need the bridge for a jump?
I got you

I don't think so Bob, because I can reach any shot that's realistic.... when cueing I find it easier to hit the cue ball lower when other balls are along the shot line.

True, but now you have to use another case tube to carry it.
Should fit in the jump cue pocket.

It's all the rage these days to carry a huge bag with extra cue balls, jump cues, extensions, pocket chalkers, special chalk, gloves, 16 cues, 5 towels, jerseys, couple bridges, extra tips.....
Just get a rolling luggage and you'll fit right in.

I got you

Like it. On the list.
BUT, what about reach?

Why not just do what I do and carry the retractable bridge into the hall with one of your hands??? Geez louise, let's complicate the sh*t out of everything!

These are all over Amazon. This one's 30 bucks. It's just a carry bag but it wouldn't tale an upholsterer to beef it up.

Just do what you're doing. Carry the moosehead in the small pocket and use your jumper.

Or a shortened house cue. I've never been in a room yet that had all 58" or better house cues.
