Kevin, thanks for the insight. Do you think the blue book of cues might help me put a value on it?
Barry
Thanks Kevin,
No it is not signed. One thing I thought was always interesting to me about the cue, is that tip of the cue is the smallest Ive ever seen? don't know why . It was like that when I bought it. 55 years ago.
Thanks Again,
Barry
"all had the traditional Hoppe ending".

Cueman ,
Iam the owner of the rambow cue, kevin was good enough to put pics on for me.
Could you give you opinion on what you think its worth? Also why do you think its rough.
Thanks for your time,
Barry
Barry,
The Blue Book is well off on Rambows. The cue market is quite a bit different than when it was published.
What helps the value is the ivory butt styling that Rambow was well known for.
What hurts the value is, from the photos, it looks like a house cue conversion (instead of a Titlist) with no signature or writing. You would need to provide some history of the cue to help authenticate it.
My estimate would be $1000 - $1200 value assuming it's straight and solid. Others may tell you more, but that would be my estimate of a fair market, auction type of value. if it is a Titlist, add $300 - $500.

Kevin,
Don't quite understand what you meant by "Id like to see the point work" if you can get a pic of that.

CHICAGO RJ,
Impossible to get my goat. Its better looking than the pics show. you must have missed the
fact Iam 67 years old. and bought this55 years ago. Phone camera can only do so much.
Thanks for the feedback,
Barry

Barry
Send the pics to me and I'll post them up. Take some close ups of the joint and the shaft insets.
