Ran 96 and Missed A straight in five footer @#%^@#

Congratulations, Johnny.

Wait until you run 98 and scratch on 99. Then, and only then will you understand the pain that 14.1 can inflict upon your soul.

Hey johnnyt,

Well done!!!! Any one who can accomplish a run of that magnatude is a first class player. Congratulations.

Nice

First, congratulations on a great run. It's funny how the 100 barrier has become such a milestone and how difficult it is to reach. Having never run 100 consecutive in my 14.1 days, and having come close a few times, it's almost like breaking the sound barrier. I feel your pain!

After I made the break shot on the last rack and knew how close I was to 100, I was choking on every shot. Two easy down the rail shots just about went in. They wiped their feet for what seemed like 30 sec, then decieded to drop. And people want me to get off my patio and go out and gamble. I'd stoke out shooting a hill-hill 9-ball for a hundred. Way to go there. Sometimes we take the easy ones for granite and they are always the ones we miss. Congrats again and don't give up it will come.:)

Congrats on a great run. I can only imagine how you felt missing the last shot. Hope you get it next time.

I'll get to 100 at some point, but right now I don't even want to look at a 14.1 rack of balls. I'll settle down by this evning...I hope:angry:. Johnnyt

Sweet run, dude. But, you know Travis Trotter would never miss a straight in ball. He just wouldn't. Just kidding.

In Danny Harriman's 280 ball run DVD, he talks about getting nervous as you approach the milestone numbers. It is then that you can really challenge your stroke, your nerves, and your mental game. That is hard to do with other games. 14.1 presents that challenge every time we play it -and we can constantly raise the bar to improve just about every aspect of the game. That is why it is the game's best teacher.

Keep on shooting like you are, remain confident, and you'll hit the triple digits eventually. Good luck!

Congrats, Dont let the minor setbacks over shadow the great accomplishment! Imagine how many times the greats of the game were sitting in your position. Thats what its all about TAKING CHANCES, MAKING MISTAKES, THEN FINALLY BREAKING THREW.......Great Job Dave
