How about some more information on where he's located and when he gives classes? I don't know Randy G.

Randy is from Dallas. We will be holding a 3 day class together next month in Charlotte, NC if you are interested. Let me know

We at AZB are also very impressed with the depth of Randy's knowledge. That is why we contacted him to do a series of columns for us. Two months ago. He has said he will get them to us but has been too busy to do so.

So we want to ask the forum users what we should do. Should we:

a) Break Randy's thumbs.
b) Bribe Randy with Porterhouse steaks and Pinot Noir.
c) or just call him every day and hassle him to death until we get the columns?

Let us know.

I'll take this opportunity to thank AZB there is a lot of great knowledge mixed into the pot here on the forums...and that alone is worth coming here....despite the arguments and flare ups..

If not for AZB I probably would have never had the opportunity to even meet let alone be trained by Randy.

so thank you all. this is a great place.. I rarely go anywhere else on the internet... on my own time..

P.S. I don't know what you need to bribe him for articles..

but a good cheeseburger netted me two DVD's :)

I went to Randy G's Advanced Class (SOP class) and it was definitely worth the money. He's very knowledgable and a terrific teacher, and his classed helped me to develop good quality stroke mechanics that I had been unable to develop on my own after many years of inconsistent play. He showed me the right way to play pool, and I'd be running racks now if I would have learned what he taught me many years earlier. I've signed up for his Expert Class (XOP class) next month.

I was able to run racks BEFORE I met Randy... I am actually kind of scared of how far I might go from here... he gave me the keys to the castle...

Friday through Sunday, Sept 19-21. 8am to 5 pm each day. We will be holding the school at The Green Room on North Polk St in Pineville, NC, right on the south edge of Charlotte. Last time I checked with Randy, we still had some openings. Cost is $625. $100 deposit will reserve your place in the class. I can also get you hotel information if you need it. Randy and I will absolutely be there, and I expect a couple more SPF instructors will also be joining us.

If you would like an idea of what to expect, go to the photo page of my web site and you can see pictures of past classes we held here. www.s-sbilliards.com

Hope to see you there.

Thought maybe you meant the La Crosse, WI area. They call that God's country too. I'm headed there this week.

Randy's Pool School that he conducted in Richmond this summer will always be in my memory. We had a great time and the students were awesome.

SPF not just for sunscreen anymore...!

I went to Randy's school in the mid 1990's.... it was the foundation of everything I know today. (ok, all three things I know today) Either way - Randy is the man!

Those improving their teaching skills were great as well!

Hi Rufus! Joshua here. Missed you at the State Tourney this year.

Hope to see you next year or at the Open, whichever you get to first.
