Rare Mcdermott Cue TC-02
- Made 1993 to 1996
- Value is at $1000
- Market Value $1400
- Cue is BRAND NEW and it is old
- Mcdermott first high cost cue stick made

Right now:
It is being taken back to the Mcdermott manufacture to get it refurbish. Fixing the joint connection to be flush and redoing the wrap.
So I have to wait for a month to get it back.
I also have duplicates as well.

Give me a price!!! Im hoping $900 or more since its getting prepped up for sale
 
VSC, about 6-7 years ago was really the height of the market for these type of cues. Since then, the market has remained pretty stagnant as more collectors have gotten away from production and into the custom stuff (and today there are a lot of choices in that price range). You might be looking at $600ish from the right buyer...maybe just a player or someone looking to fill a niche in their McDermott collection. Best of luck.
 
yea I'm just hoping to get more than $400. But as of right now I have to wait for it to come back from the company for a month or so. Then I could put it on ebay. How it looks good when I receive it.
 
Let me know how good of a job they do on your cue. I was thinking of sending mine out to them to do alittle clean-up work myself.

PS - If you like McDermotts, here's a REALLY OLD vintage cue for you. It's an all original B14 built from 72-76

nice cue. if you brought it back to the manufacture it might cost if you used the stick already.

Good thing the previous owner that had the stick has connections and they know the stick was never used. But its lifetime warranty i think on the mcdermott cues.
 
I dont mind spending the money, as long as they atleast spend afew bucks of it in a stripclup or for acouple of beers.;)
 
Actually McDermott does a great job refinishing, I have sent a couple sticks back to them previously. Have another going in a couple days.

They are running a special.... New shaft, wrap (Leather included) and refinishing for 200.00. It has to be a McDermott though.

BUMP... I FINALLY GOT IT BACK!!! After mishap of losing it they finally fixed it and got it done.

The wrap was fixed and the connection is flush. Still For Sale.

Give me an offer.

VSC - Not to rain on your parade, brother, but... truth is... this isn't the McDermott crowd... they're elsewhere... not sure where... but they're elsewhere, fwiw.
