Rare Tim Scruggs cues

i have been a big fan of tim's cues before 1980. this represents very simple but beautifuly crafted point work good luck

The six pointer was my player for a good while.
After a hurricane came through I had to sell whatever cue I could sell. The guy that bought it turned down a ivory joint titlist and said I want the cue you use. I didn't know he had seen me use it.
Times were tough and he got his way. After he went back to Canada I thought I would never see it again.
Timi had the guy that bought it from the French Canadian call me. And finally after a few years he relented.
And that isn't this cues coolest story!

The coolest part Six Point Veneer Cue:
About 10 years ago I called and was talking to Mike. I was thinking about ordering a cue. I said you know I was woundering and thinking about maybe a six point veneer cue. He said I have a few right now at the house. I have the set up for the six pointers at my house and bring them in.
I said, What! You did a six point forearm and do I want it? F*ck yea! Then he told me,"Actually I do the four pointers too. I have done them since about 1984. You can hace one of them for $1200.
A month goes by and I the shop and Timi answers:
Timi Scruggs says to me, "What did Mike tell you. $1200 for a six point veneer cue?" I just can't do that. I can do six solid points but not a,Christ I get $1400 for a four pointer with the veneers."
I said, "Timi if that is what money buys that is what I get six solid points."
So this six pointer shows up. I was expecting a six solid point cue with one shaft and got on the phone to Timi:
"Timi,you sent me the wrong cue." "Hows that?"
"I had six solid ebony points on order and you sent me a six point veneer cue. Someone else has my cue and I have theirs!"
Timi said, "NAHHHHHHHH, We thought you would like that one better!, laughing as he finished saying it.
I said "Timi you are a real comedian." He didn't miss a beat and said,"I get that alot."
The reciet read:
