Put in order playing 9-Ball on the 9 foot table..... Best to Last

1. Justin Cone
2. Brandon Shuff
3. Donnie Mills
4. Mike Dechaine
5. Shannon Murphy
6. Joey Gray
7. Jaimie Ferrel
8. James Baraks
9. Matt Clatterbuck
10. Adam Smith

This is dumb... But its interesting to see how people look at others..

I dont know much about all these players.......but I have played against James Baraks. He is IMO one of the top "undiscovered" players out there.

i agree, jamie baraks is the best on that list. he has a killer break and some great pool genes.

guy

What in the world makes you think Jamie Baracks is "undiscovered"? He is a well known player in most of the country, and a local legend in the midwest...not to mention he's Mark Wilson's son! Sheesh...you must not get out much.

another name I would like to see on that list is Chad Vilmont. Where does he rate nationally on the bar table. He has won a ton of tourneys all over the midwest and beyond. One pro has told me that Chad was top 10 in the country on the box maybe higher.

He rates very high!

He definitely doesn't get as much chatter as he should, but I do believe the good players that have seen him play, known just how good he is. He is an incredibly solid player with no real weakness on the bar table.

I would have to say Donnie Mills is the best on the list hands down
From what I know of him, I have to agree with you.

I think there are a few pros that would rate him that high. He is way solid on a 7'er.

1....... Baraks
1a..... Mills
3.......Dechaine
4.......Clatterbuck
5.......Shuff
6.......Gray
7.......Smith
8.......Murphy
9.......Cone

Gray and Cone would be 1 and 2 playing 1P.

Ratings are based on hearsay with regards to some players.

On a bar table Vilmont is top 3.

I like your order. If they are gambling, you need to move Shuff down the list.

That's funny stuff..... :)

.............................................

I had the pleasure of racking for Jamie in an open tournament a few years ago. About 4 games in to the match, I thought to myself. Is this guy ever gonna miss? He was really on that day and I don't think anyone could have beaten him. he is definitely a known player around here...

3.Gray
4.Dechaine
5.Mills
6.Murphy

Where would you slot that kid (who hasn't missed a ball in 3 MEMPHIS events) from St. Louis??

BTW, I'm in 3rd in my fantasy $ league. I have no idea why BYRNES and FRANCOEUR were the 2nd and 3rd OF's I drafted.:sorry:

I was able to add QUENTIN and LUDWICK as FA's:smile:

Best of luck in your endeavors..

OOOPS,

I missed FERREL.

I'd slot him right after BARACKS and MILLS.

The kid who hasn't missed a ball in 3 MEMPHIS events would be 4th or 5th. I am not really sure how Clatterbuck plays. The kid is expected to be farther down south this weekend in Mobile.

3rd in my league also, closing in on second. More complicated as we use contract years and NL only so added players are limited. Soriano, Holliday & Wainright on the DL have not helped but other teams have had lots of injuries as well.
Locally, Cardinals have been nice surprise being competetive and have nice power with Pujols, Ludwick, Ankiel, Glaus. If they can sign a decent SS or 2B next year that can leadoff, they will be able to be playoff bound again.

Agreed, I've known Brandon Shuff for years. He is no slouch for the $$$... Lots of heart in that young man

No way!

Brandon was in Texas a couple of weeks ago. Ask Ochoa and Chen how he plays for the money! They might enlighten you!

yes, only guy at the Music City that would play him was SVB and they broke even.neither one of them ever missed a legitimate shot.he is also a turly nice and honest guy.

from the list guys i know that have gone down to Fl to play Donnie Mills and come back busted i would have to put him at the top of that list with Baracks right behind him.
