Grew up watching Pot Black....it was Ray Reardon vs Eddie Charlton that got me hooked. Classy player.

91 is a pretty long life. I hope he enjoyed most of it, RIP. Are you talking about Joe Davis or Steve Davis, ? Or both?

His stroke was unlike any snooker player you see today. Reminds me of Allen Hopkins.

i have only seen old recorded matches of ray, but it seemed he always had a good humor. basically all of the old welsh players came from humble backgrounds and worked in the coal mines before playing snooker for a living. probably makes you appreciate playing snooker on TV a whole lot more
