Glad to see you're upgrading. I have a OS 8 footer in my basement (due to room constraints) & find I have little problem going to either 9 footer or barbox. Of course I'm not a very accomplished player...lol

a little something added(lagniappe),to go with Johnnyt's (my first thought too) recommendation I would say to add George Fels Mastering Pool as a compendium to Ray's book. Then,watch as many Accustat's DVD's on Straight Pool as possible. Good Luck!!
