I would like people's opinions on what is the best tip for breaking because my phenolic tip just isn't working out anymore it won't hold chalk & if I'm even a little off centre when breaking I either miscue or end up having the cb squirt off in the wrong direction.

So could people recommend a non phenolic break tip that breaks a ton, jumps easy & holds chalk well

Samsara... I second that, and you cannot beat it... breaks like a phenolic, but it's legal!

There have been a lot of threads about this recently (since the ban on phenolic in a lot of tournaments and leagues), so I bet you can find a ton of good stuff if you do a search. For what it's worth, I hear fantastic things about the Samsara tip and the White Diamond tip as well.

For the break cue Samsara HANDS DOWN!!! Also the white diamond is a phenolic I have one on my jump cue.

Try the break& jump cue tip from Madman tips....

On a side note I am selling my bunjee jump b/j cue and I want to upgrade to a scorpion break cue and jump cue but what I would like to know is because the ferrules on these cues are brass would that effect me switching the tips out to put on a samsara tip.

I always recommend the Samsara JB tip. Haven't tried a Super Pro - haven't need to either - but you hear good things & I trust they're true. I wouldn't walk across the room to use another White Diamond.
