Because of my offer in post #96, I have to wait to give anymore greenies out today. However, tommorrow is a brand new day and I'm keeping track of all those who I still owe. You all will get yours, I promise. I hope I'm not the only one passing out the green to those who stepped up to do the right thing.

Apparantely, just about everyone is doing the right thing and giving EW what he deserves. Keep it up.

IMO, red rep should only be given for the worst cases of ethical or social offenses, not for differences of opinion or dislike for someone. Eddie meets that criteria in spades. Red rep has been given to Mr Wheat.

I gave him a red earlier today when I posted about wondering how he still has green rep. I still don't understand it. :(

Oh yeah, I know I haven't been around long but I am happy to say that he was my very first red rep. Hopefully he will be the last. :D

Way to go Adam!!!!!!!! With a few more rep giants like Ribdoner showing what they got it will be over for Eddie......... Presently I am out of bullets but I will be back in the game tomorrow. Where is the SMORG when you need him???? Hes got got the stuff, he could probably turn all Eddies green to RED an atleast half his name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's very simple lowcel. Anyone can register with the site administration to "buy out" any red rep they receive.

You can even deposit in advance a small bank of cash with the site owners via paypal or credit card and any red rep received is then automatically written off against your balance at the rate of $2 per red, reduced to $1 per red if you are also a registered Club Member.

Eddie foresaw problems and cut a deal quite some time ago with the site management to lodge a deposit of $300 in Wheat Cues Gift Vouchers which everyone knows is the equivalent of cash. Although the negotiated exchange rate on them was apparently only $4 of Wheat Vouchers per deleted red square they will nevertheless still cover a lot of red rep.......therefore it may be quite some considerable time yet before his green squares disappear completely.

Let me tell you how that works. Let's say that when you green rep someone, your rep is worth 200 points and moves that person from 8 green boxes to 9 green boxes (because it takes 200 points to move someone along after the 5th green box and all the way to #11)

Well, when you red someone, they receive one half of whatever your green rep was worth. So if your green rep moved them forward 200 points, your red rep only moved them back 100 points.

It takes TWICE as much red rep to move someone backwards. If Eddie Wheat had 20,000 total rep points, it would take an accumulation of 40,000 negative points to get him 11 red rep boxes, or maybe just back to Zero points (I'm not real good on my gozinda's).

My green rep is currently about 1050+ points per Rep Bomb and it would subtract 525 points from EW.

there is no rhyme, nor reason for this fiasco to continue. he should have been banned several times before now. one has to wonder what "hold" EW has on the owners/administraters of this forum.

I taught school for "too many" years. to survive in the classroom, one has to size up the problem children quickly. this learned ability transfers to public life also. I've read this and many other EW threads (almost all of the deleted ones) and have come to the conclusion that EW actually believes what he says. unfortunately, he wouldn't recognize the truth if it swatted him in the head.

I have sympathy for his supporters who can't see the truth. c'mon...give up the charade of support and try to help the guy see his problems for what they are.

if this board will not ban EW, they might as well let fast larry come back. :eek:
