Hello My fellow Cuemakers/Cuesmiths and general AZr's,


I just wanted to take the time to say thankyou to the person(s) who felt compelled to run to Daddy and tell him I was giving away Mach3 software !!!

Your information is incorrect and nothing has indicated I HAVE done so or commited any offense whatsoever!!!

However, it's a very nice attempt to get me into trouble, but do you really think I'm that stupid as to hand you clowns the axe ? I offered the software... there is a huge difference there and I don't believe there's a "conspiracy to distrubute law" out there for making a generous suggestion...

I think it's amusing that some of you are so annoyed at my prices and quality of my work contributing to the custom cue market, that you go out of your way to "try" and hurt my business becasue I won't charge (for example) : 1500.00 for a 500.00 cue like some of you do because who you "are" seems to be worth more than the actual cue's fundamentals...

I help anyone and everyone who asks for it and offer help to those who haven't....

I can appreciate the taunts and sarcasm with the select few who enjoy taking shots at me, becasue that's expected, but to create an issue like the one that just happened with the thread "CNC help" was quite pathetic to do because I was only trying to help out another fellow cuemaker !!!

Never the less... You didn't hurt me, you only created more attention for me, and I got 4 more cue orders from the readers out of it !!!

Thanks for the free advertsing, I love you guys !!!!!

I also appreciate everyones insight and advice regarding the legalities and concerens with the forementioned thread, and especially want to thank all of you fellow Az'rs and Cuemakers/Cuesmiths for quick responses and detailed assitance you have given me when I have posted threads asking for your opinions and help too !!!

like i said in the thread it is piracy and i am not saying i wouldn't do it,but i wouldn't mention it publicy.

i would like to know who reported you so i can avoid them like the plague.if you find out who or anyone knows who please post or PM me.
 
i understand the everyone here has freinds and aslo probably some enemies.it seesms tough to get along with everyone at AZ.

i don't care how mad someone got at Eddie for claiming his way was right or whatever,this is crossing the line.there are certain things you just don't do.

Yeh, your absolutely right, it's just not right to tell some one that there is a thief stealing his stuff. Next time I see someone robbing a store or stealing some ones cues I'll be sure to take your advice and look the other way.

Well, if it was me or if it wasn't me I'm sure that it's none of your bussiness. Point IS that he never said anything casually that he MIGHT give something away that is not his to give away but that he DID offer to give it to anyone who asked him for it.

"I have Mach 3 and BobCad 20 if you need them !!! Just contact me and I will get them to you at NO charge !!!".

That is what was put into print. Apparently, some have a little higher morals or scruples than others and if you don't want your words thrown back in your face then don't put them where they can't be erased. Also, you seem very sure that no one took Eddie up on his offer to get a rip for free. Just how are you so positive of this assumption?

do you think anyone you know has a song or movie that was maybe taped or downloaded for free?

i know a few people who have and i won't tell on them either,but that doesn't mean my moral standard is low.

I didn't even know he wrote it and ArtofCnc was actually named after him.
 
again just going off what Eddie said.he said someone here told on him.i guess it's not as big a deal as i thought around here,but i just can't do stuff like that.

Maybe I could have worded it slightly differently but I was directing that more at Eddie than you. However, now that it's brought up, I don't have a lot of respect for someone who condones others attempt at piracy. I'm not the one who dropped the dime on Eddie but I certainly don't hold any thing against them for doing it. The morality doesn't come in for not dropping a dime on someone who is really only trying to be friendly but because you seem to be so outraged that someone would do the right thing. But, your right, it's only software. I just wonder why the government has fines of up to 250,000.00 per offence for something so innocent and minor.

So what makes some of you such saints ??? what gives you the right to tell me what I should or should not do and insult or correct my every effort ???

If I want to help someone than that's my option... not yours !!! and NONE of you qualify as my superior to tell me otherwise !

If you do NOT like me than ignore me and my posts, but to go out of your way to make a point or to cause me problems is unacceptable and downright vile !!!

I DO have free time on my hands and are willing to travel if neccessary to make MY point !!!

I have no ill will torward any of you guys on here and that includes Barrenbrugg... just becasue we disagree on issues doesn't mean I hate him....

Some of you really need to re-evaluate yourselves on why you are here on AZ... is it to help or antagonize others ???

I can understand the cheap shot and that is acceptable, but my question to the one who alerted MACH 3 is: do you have 100% legal software in your inventory and that includes movies,videos and music... becasue if you don't and that includes most of us, than you are NOT qualified to police anyone !!!

Anyways, I have said all I am going to about this topic... so in closing, if you have a direct problem with me, then be a man and call or PM me and we'll get it straightened out, this backstabbing crap is for kids !

It was directed to the thread starter.... I was replying to his thread, the statement did not show pluralization ! the word "you" shows personalization !!!

How would that have helped him?
He did not ask for it.
HE WANTED CNC LESSONS. HE DID NOT ASK FOR A HAND ME DOWN software/updates. WHY COULDN"T HE GET UPDATES himself? DID HE NEED UPDATES? His machine is a 2-d machine. MACH 2 if more than 3-D.
My guess is he wants to design his own machinery.

So now, you are arguing with your peers, posters and a very generous software developer.
IF you think they are all wrong, my bad.

Joey, I'm not arguing with anyone... I just don't understand why everytime I post anything it gets blown completely out of proportion !!!

I offered the software becasue it's a little more user friendly than most others I.M.O.

Just becasue I tell it like it is and have nothing to hide, does that make me a target simply I care about helping others without trying to make a mortgage payment off of someone ???

I will always be generous and helpful to everyone, this is who I am !!!

I offered the software becasue it's a little more user friendly than most others I.M.O
THEY have free trial.Their licenses are not transferrable.

What about you Joeyincali what's the last year you have made a cue for a customer ????

I owe noone an appology and challenge everyone to build a cue for under 400.00 that is equivalent to MY quality and dimensions....

so unless you are willing to put your reputation on the line... then hide behind your keyboard where it's safe and keep throwing shallow remarks at me while I'm taking your business and giving players what they want, rather than what you want to give them !!!
