I've had birdseye hanging for almost a year, with a cut every month or so, then connect to a handle, everything is fine. I then, after a few months of cutting it down more, put on a sealer, then 2 weeks later the whole thing warped. If I'd worked faster, I'd have a warped cue with my name on it, floating out there with an unhappy player. The waiting game isn't a game nor is it about hype, etc. it's about giving the customer the best you can, not the fastest, nor the cheapest just because thats what they asked for. If someone wants just a tool they can get right now, they buy a Ryobi, but if they want a real performer that will be consistant for years, and can do the job well, they save their money, and buy a Porter Cable, Dewalt, Milwallkee, etc.
If you have customers flipping your cues soon after purchase, then come back for more, on a regular basis, then you know your doing it all right, because that means you make a great cue that others like, and the person selling them believes in you enough to sell them to others. Just my .5 cents,
Dave
