walking into Ames with his cue stick in that classic case

We all thought for years that it was a Brunswick top loader

Turned out to be something much better
high quality leather and some gun case pin striped light tooling

JB cases has made the best one I have ever seen and for $500
you can own the black one that is the last one that I was going to keep
but I have decided to sell my best personal stuff

Its new,classy and beautiful

You will love it and so will everyone in your group
class is like that, everyone likes and respect it

Only one and there may never be another
call me now
to assure yourself a lifetime heirloom

it is a 1x2
$500 is not much when you think about the years ahead

occasionally you may want a bigger case for some reason or another

but imagine yourself attending an important function to play pool
what would make you feel better than presenting your cue in the absolute finest most desirable case the world has ever known

People will automatically know that you know and the rest is history

Fast Eddie is still remembered ,and maybe the case along with the Balabushka
is the reason

only 1 left

Cue case from color of money?

It was made by a guy named McKernan in Seattle. He shot pool at Goldie's on 45th street when he made it. I thought the original edit of TCOM started with a long slow pan of the stick in an open case - I recently rerented it and the opening titles are different.*
Anyway McKernan made tube cases with all the leftovers, he sold a few in the neighborhood @$50. I should've bought 5. The leather handle is the same, velvet interior's from the same bolt, all the brass is the same, and he steamed very thin oak around PVC. The end cap is a compression fit and has the letter M inlaid. Last year a guy in Vegas recognized - he sold some of them in Tennessee back in the '80s.

Yes, Pat made two blue velvet cases with leather handles. He made two for the movie because one was thrown down the stairs and got banged up. I was there when he sold them to the studio for $687 each.

I have seen one of these cases in person and pictures and words do not do it justice. It is truly a piece of artwork.

Ughhhhh... the case in The Hustler is straight out of the Brunswick catalogs of the 1950s

If anyone knows Deano, you would know he don't do pics. I'll see if I can find one
