Remind me again why?

What is the prize money for winning the World Championship snooker?
£500,000
Winner: £500,000. Runner-up: £200,000. Semi-finalists: £100,000. Quarter-finalists: £50,000.

As to the OP original question, it's economics. Pool in the US doesn't really have a brand to sell. I think that pool can be successful it just needs to be marketed differently and with some organization. Why would a company want to sponsor pool? The numbers don't add up yet to make it a profitable expenditure. I have hope that Matchroom might be our best bet for pool to start gaining outside sponsorship.

As usual, you're wrong again

Nonpublic Forums
Mansky, 585 U.S. __ (2018), in a nonpublic forum, the Government may restrict contents of a speech, as long as the restriction is reasonable and the restriction does not discriminate based on speakers' viewpoints
Your Google skills are weak. I talked about the 1st amendment to the US Constitution and you found a court case that had to do with prohibiting wearing a Tea Party shirt at a polling place. And if you understand the case it reinforces what I said. It is about what the government can limit, not about what a private party can limit. Ànd the Minnesota law was found to be unconstitutional because it was too vague, not because the basic idea of such a law is a violation Yes, the word "forum" was deep within the written opinion but used in a completely different context.

This FIRST Amendment??

What is the 1st Amendment in simple terms?
The First Amendment guarantees freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly, and the right to petition. It forbids Congress from both promoting one religion over others and also restricting an individual's religious practices.

What are the 5 freedoms First Amendment?
The five freedoms it protects: speech, religion, press, assembly, and the right to petition the government. Together, these five guaranteed freedoms make the people of the United States of America the freest in the world

Pool in the USA is fragmentated with like 7-9 Organizations, if they all went away, or regroup as ONE you would have the strenght of a single group like PGA, NFL, NCAA, NHRA, NASCAR, PRCA. Those groups seem to do a good job with their sports.

I know what it says. It limits what the government can forbid, prohibit or limit. It doesn't limit what rules AZbilliards can make.

How much did 77th place earn again???? €52,500 is about $52,972÷2 years=$26,486 annually!!! Long ways from $100k a year don't you think???
The prize money listed was in British Pounds, not Euros. 52,500 Pounds is the equivalent of about $73,000 US. That would be $36,000+ a year. Not great but far better than anyone who is 77th in Pro Pool.

But the chart shows 38,500 pounds, not 52,500, right? (Am I looking at the right chart?) And 38,500 pounds does, indeed, translate to about $53,000, which is what Glen had. I don't know why a euros figure is in there.

Also remember the UK is pricy to live in, weather is like one day a year the sun shines, no refergeration so the beer is warm, can’t think of a reason I would want to live there.

Plus 4th. Of July is not day of celebration.🤣

A far cry from a $100,000 claimed a year for 77th on the money list for snooker though!!!

Yeah, i don't know where the number came from other than It was a few years ago, and was on Snooker Island, and was a quote by whoever was the 77th ranking player. I'll see if I can find it.

No wonder they are good at cue sports. I'd stay inside and play pool (or snooker) all day as well....

You ever lived in Europe, or are you just imagining what living there must be like?

Ummmm the grass ain’t necessarily greener in America. Better everything? Not even close. There are trade offs everywhere in the world.

Well the guy I worked with were all reporters, editions, in UN News inductry. They came and stay. Retired here. Yes they went back to visit family but never moved back to the UK.

Real King Stolen Valor also picked 24 months of which 17 were affected by a global pandemic. Never trust a con man.

Are you able to discuss how the meetings went?

I would bet if I was RKC working on Secret Project, why give away and details, until you ready to have the Real Deal Unveiling.

Do like any great stuns proformor or, race up and down, stirring up dust, making gravel fly. Like Robbie Kenevel.

Them people get excited what you hype for an hour, and do in 20 seconds.
