Remove e-mail address IMMEDIATELY!!!

I have been interested in possibly joining raffles. At barely over 20 posts, I am very far from that 100 post limit, but I do have iTrader positive feedback from members who have been on here for a very long time even if the feedback is recent. I even got to meet Jazznpool in person. What is going on is very unfortunate because I was hoping to be able to take part in the raffle opportunities.

NOT............. paypal will follow up with whatever someone fills them in on!!! ALMOST A DEFINATE that the person is a ebay user in good standing and has been banned from here more than once!!!!! YOU ALL KNOW WHO IT IS!!!!!!

I have been on e-bay for ten years and have 100% feedback rating and bought and sold hundreds of items under various handles. why would you say that I'm not qualified to play ?I may be new to the forum but you have no right to put limitations on me !

Wow! Now people feel it's their "right" to participate in raffles and buy our items. Sorry to disappoint and correct you there Mr. jigajim, but I have EVERY RIGHT to not allow you to buy my items and play in my raffles (though I've never held any). This is a private forum/community not a public auction, by virtue we have the RIGHT to disclude anybody the moderators choose, or for that matter the person selling the item/holding the auction.

Anyway, sorry to see you guys are getting "reported" to paypal. Somebody really just needs to get a life and start worrying about their on problems and not what everyone else is doing.

Jim

I will always allow anyone who wants to participate easy access to anything I run. Why? Because it is good business. Perhaps 1 in 1000 will report you falsely or try to scam you, but by excluding people, you piss them off before you even start. So now you have pissed off 100 out of 1000 and you will be reported more frequently. Sell good items fairly and you will never be reported. Run your raffles like a dictator and you will have problems. Pissed off people have a lot of time on their hands when they are trying to ruin someone.

Thanks

Paypal is using your e-mail addresses to find and suspend your Paypal account when you run a raffle.
Read more about what is going on here, and thank you to those contributing to the thread.

If you are currently running a raffle, or have ever offered one, remove your e-mail address immediately to avoid account suspension!!!
I don't wish to distract from the other thread, but wanted to get the word out asap to those who may not be aware of what is going on.

At least temporarily, I suggest asking for PMs for your Paypal address, and denying requests from those with less than 100 or 200 posts on the forum. This should keep things going for a while, at least until another method of quick payment can be secured. Google checkout has been suggested, but I have never used it and cannot comment on it.

Here's another tip. Don't link your Paypal account to your primary checking account. Frequently, Paypal will lock up your bank account as well as your Paypal account if a buyer makes any kind of stink, either real or contrived. If that happens, your primary checking account can be locked up for a month while they investigate. Open a separate bank account for linking to Paypal, and transfer funds received out of that account as soon as they are received to protect yourself.
