Rempe's Snooker Efforts

"Make sure you identify yourself to me if we ever meet in person at a tournament, so I can tell you what a f***ing jerk you are."

"it doesn't f***ing matter what other people think will help his business,"

"***holes like you think it's funny when people are outright stealing from one of the industries' biggest supporters."

"And if you do happen to introduce yourself, I'll call you an ***hole to your face"

If you are against Accu-Stats piracy as well, then I apologize, but this is not a topic to joke with me about. I see it as outright thievery. If you want to watch an awesome rack of pool, then either buy the Accu-Stats video, or travel to the tournament to watch it in person. That's it. Unless someone who owns the videos is giving it away for free, there are no other choices.

Russ

Russ post earlier this week "This is an open letter to all those I have offended in the past few weeks.

Going back and reading a lot of the posts before the current one that offended a lot of people, I saw in my own posts a bit of a growing anger. Quite a few of you chastised me for my disregard of others' feelings, and I have to say you have been right..."

WOW!
I guess this is the new kinder, gentler, less angry Russ.

You are referring to the pathetic showing of English 8 ball players on the IPT???

I guess you mean Appleton who is 13th on the money list and had a 7th place finish. Or maybe Karl Boyes who had an 8th place finish. Or maybe Mick Hill who had a 9th place finish and 105 break and runs total. Yeah, they were really pathetic (I bet you wish you were 1/2 as good as them.)

I watched Boyes play in the qualifier at HardTimes and was impressed. Very solid player.

> Steve Mizerak played Steve Davis first in these Brunswick Challenges. Steve Davis ran like 58 playing 14.1 in his 3rd game of it EVER. Miz won the other 2 games to 75. Miz had a break of 40-50 playing snooker, but lost every game. In 9-ball,Steve Davis won games but lost every set. The following year,Miz played Jimmy White, and just drilled him at both 14.1 and 8-ball,and even won a rack of snooker with a 52 break, but Jimmy won individual games of 8-ball. The following year, they had Steve up against Stephen Hendry, and also brought Ewa Laurance to play their reigning women's snooker champion, the then-unknown Allison Fisher. The only real details I remember about that one is that Allison ran 75-out twice on Ewa,and had played exactly 2 games of 14.1 with Steve Davis earlier in the day. She even borrowed his pool cue,a Jimmy Rempe Meucci. I couldn't help but think about what she would do to the women over here if she ever showed up,and even told people just before she won that big tournament in Europe before she came here that she was going to take over, and people thought I was nuts. That's ok,it makes me look like a prophet. I also remember reading an interview with Rempe where he said he made it to the final 64 of the Embassy World Championships, and how different the games are in terms of stance and cue delivery. I agree with you here Wayne. The showing of the Brits was particularly impressive. Appleton, Boyes and Hill showed they could hang with the best players in the world. And they did.
I agree. Hence the sarcasm.
