Renewal of Club Membership

Don't you make money off of AZ? Why don't you give something back?

Dave it takes money to have drawings.
Sorry Not joining because not enough others are joining to enable the forum to finance free drawings just seems counter productive.
If membership were to increase. Maybe drawings could resume.

To me just having AZB is benefit enough.
It should not be about key chains, larger avatars or drawings.
Just helping Mike to maintain AZB as the best pool forum ever is good enough for me. :cool:

I didn't even know about the key chain......drawings.....etc....etc I stumbled across this site quite by accident while googling something or other about pool. I spent about 2-3 hrs veiwing several threads. When I discovered the wealth of knowledge available here it was obvious I would be spending a good deal of time reading here. Yes...I have had to endure inane posts, political posturing, outright vulgar behavior, and an inexcusable absence of common decency in more than one thread. IMHO the good outweighs the bad by a considerable margin. Lord only knows how much money I would have to spend on instruction manuals, research results, independent testing results, etc...etc...i think that ....dime a day..
is some of the best money I ever spent......Dan

Are you going to include recent joinies? I do know about 6 people or so have responded to my recent private campaign.
Do you get a spot for renewing? My current year is up tomorrow.
You probably ought to check with Mike and make sure he approves and will provide the info.

TO EVERYONE I AM SO EMBARASSED I HAD NEVER NOTICED THAT MY MEMBERSHIP EXPIRED!!!! I HAVE NO IDEA WHEN IT DID, THAT MAKES ME A HIPOCRATE, BUT IT WAS A HONEST MISTAKE.:sorry::sorry:

I WILL TAKE CARE OF IT WHEN THE DERBY IS OVER.

One thought comes to mind and it wouldnt be difficult, is to set up a automatic email 2-3 weeks before the expiration and one or two emails after the expiration date as a reminder, I bet that would generate more $$$, I had no idea I wasnt a member anymore.

You should have received an email (email address linked to your account) from AZB a week before expiry that says...


Dear <Your AZB Username>,

Your access to the paid subscription "AzB Club Member" is about to expire.

If you have selected a recurring subscription you will be
automatically billed for the renewal, else to renew this subscription
you must visit http://forums.azbilliards.com//payments.php

If you do not extend your subscription, access will be removed.

Look at thread, "poohall smoking". 348 posts to it in the last 7 days! Most of the posts have NOTHING to do with poolhall smoking! The subject digressed into talking about liberties, rights, etc., etc., NOT the subject. I will not support with $$$ for membership which does NOT police itself! Where are the moderators???

I took a brief look and it wasn't for me so I don't open it. :shrug:

How many club members are there?I am new to the site and find it addicting,my wife thinks i am nuts spending so much time on the computer.And yes I will donate,I've have learned so much to date.Thanks too all. HANK AKA mailman:)

I have been stripped of my Yelleow Ribbon.:sad: It feels naked.:eek:
I feel lonely. I have a disoriented feeling, No more feeling of comradiere, I am lost. I do not feel I can survive. I must help. I must belong.
Soon I will have to, It just does not feel right not to,
Have no Fear AZ I will be back tomorrow.:D

I just renewed for the third time. My name used to be in blue now it's not. Not that it's a big deal. Keychain? What's that all about. All I have seen is larger pm space.:confused:
 
I pay my membership because of all the beaver I get from it. Girls see that little yellow box under my name and it makes my penis look 4 inches longer and 2 inches bigger around. Tis better than a sports car I tell ya.


As for the bigger avatars, I like 'em. Taking up too much space, c'mon, get real. It takes up a tiny square in the corner of a post.

Today, I got an email message that my PM box is almost full.:eek:
Life is very stressfull not belonging. My Blood pressure is high.
It just does not feel right.
I wonder how long I can hold out.:confused:
