Reno Matches for 9-12

Justin Bergman lost to Gabe on the winners side and Joyner on the losers side.

The Final matches for Sunday are Chohan / Gabe Owen on the winners side, and Cliff Joyner / Rich Orem (sp) on the losers.

Ronnie and Shane still playing one hole.

Thanks JCIN, for the updates. At least someone is looking out for us by covering the Sands, since AZBilliards doesn't really care.

I am actually really surprised, as The US Open, DCC, and Sands Regency tournaments are really the only longstanding American tournaments, and I believe the Sands is getting MAJOR disrespect from AZBilliards.

Not even coverage of a SINGLE match by the site.... Shameful.

Finishing 9-12 and getting $700.00 for this tournament, That is Shameful...

Although it would be nice to have coverage on all tournaments, please don't be so hard on AZBilliards for not having "active" coverage. Sometimes things happen that prevent what everyone would like. I am sure it is not a "disrespect" that some are assuming. It is tough for Mike H. to be everywhere and to do it for nothing!

Since we are now providing the tables, perhaps we can help a little in the future. (Hey Mike -ya listening???)

By the way Ritchie Orem (now from Florida - originally from Fairbanks, Alaska) is in the top three. He beat Joyner hill-hill. For what it is worth, he also went up with the Diamond/BCAPL crew and worked setting up the tables. He's playing pretty sporty I hear.

Here is the latest: Gabe Owen defeats Tony C (9-7 I think) and then Rich Orem beat Tony C. on the hill.

Finals are Owen vs Orem.

I didn't say he had to do the report himself. All he's gotta do is find someone who will volunteer to do some write ups, who is already at the Sands. We already have a few AZ'ers there. I'm sure they'd do it if just asked. if they didn't have the writing skills, I'm sure they'd be able to lay hands on someone there who can throw a little something together.

What we need more of is people who can go to tournaments and report back what is going on for free. Sorry, but no one is going to pay you for this.
