I just read that the french player Stephan Cohen ran 344 yesterday in a practice session. It was in a pool room and a lot of players have stopped playing to follow his performance. It took about 2.5 hours. He ran 49 more than his last high run wich was 295. Congrats to him ! I wish I was there.
 
gosh, that's really respectable. Provided I've never heard about Stephan's success in straight pool. Though I think he might have won some Euro champs medals there, but not golden I suppose.
 
Stephan is passionate by straight pool. He really is a straight pool player.

Yes, he won two medals, one of silver and one of bronze, in european straight pool championships, as well in 8-ball.

he'll also be playing the Predator 14-1 WC's in New Jersey in August

Thought it was fit to bump this thread, about the 14-1 player from France.

1 year after he made the 344 he became the European 9-ball Champion and now he's in the semifinal against Johnny Archer in the Predator 14-1 Championship.
