So I've just looked at the "rep" stack rankings for the first time in quite some time.... I notice something strangely amiss....

You see, there are quite a few tools who've accumulated a huge amount of rep points. I submit to you that this is based upon three different reasons:

  • Cliques - "let's rep each other to death!"
  • Nuthangers - "You make the greatest cues evAR!!!" or "my god you're rich, so I'm going to blow you over the intarweb!!"
  • Posting to death... "I LIVE for AZB!!!!"

Sorry, but who really gives half a shit about some green dot or stack ranking amidst a sea of "Bangers", as Bruce de Nit would call it? It's gotten obscenely stupid... Sad thing was Donovan had the jump 2 years earlier than the last "posse" ever had....

and for what it's worth, I've probably given rep 30x in my life, and that was for GREAT posts.... now it seems people will rep someone for posting, "So I took a huge dump this morning....."
