I don't feel so bad when I screw up racks after having watched this late last night.

It was the 1994 U.S. Open and Efren was playing Jose Parica. Efren left Parica this 2 ball out. All he had to do was put a little left english on the ball and it would have come down and off the rail for a very good shot on the 9B. But Jose played it one rail and you see where his CB ended up.

Grady was stunned.

Jose had ball in hand on the 8 ball on Corey in the BCA Final in Vegas and didn't get out.
He's human.
Efren missed a ball in hand against Earl in TCOM, in HK and missed . 😢
But, he won..

At the World 14.1 Championships (?1981?), I saw Mizerak shoot at a five ball that was literally hanging over a pocket. He played it rail first and missed the ball completely. Even the legends get it very wrong on occasion.

been there done that. that's a classic 'indecision' shot. i can't decide to go one rail like this, two rails, whatever. we all do this sooner or later. some sooner and more often. ;)
