Math really isn't my strong suit. So you're saying 15-3 is 12? Who knew.

Back to reporting. This rack has been a little sloppy. Bad safes and bad shape. Brandon has made a couple of very nice shots and may get out.
 
Brandon makes a ball on the break. Makes the 1 but is a long way from the 3 which is the next ball. Gonna be a tough out but he has to go for it.

missed a tough shot on the 4 and the Magician is back at the table.

Efren makes a ball on the break misses the 2 and Brandon swings and misses. Efren back at the table ready to finish it off.
 
Combo on the 6-8 is the only tough shot and Efren handles it flawlessly. Then misses the 7 and leaves Brandon a tough full length reverse bank. Agonizing. Brandon makes it!! It ain't over yet! 14-5.

14 / 5 against the magician is about as close to a done deal that any of us will ever get. LOL, I like Brandon, BUT??????

Brandon kicks and misses and Efren kicks and makes, but misses a 9 foot cut shot on the 5. Brandon at the table with an open layout.
 
Brandon gets out despite a terrible leave on the 10. Only nine more to go!

Mark Fleming says Brandon has been rope a doping - wearing down Efren by making him shoot all those balls and now he's going for the kill:smile:
 
Brandon makes a ball on the break but completely dogs the 1. Efren at the table but misses the 2. Yet again Brandon is left tough after an Efren miss. Brandon slops in the 2. Things are starting to roll his way.
 
For the first time Brandon is exhibiting the rhythm that we are all used to seeing at First Break. Nice smooth run out to get to 14-7

Has Brandon told him "up yours with the spot" yet? That'll rattle him.
 
If he's found his stroke and rhythm this could get more interesting. For those of us who have played Brandon, he can go on a tear when he's firing on all cylinders.
