Rhino CF shafts....159bux, free ship

Got mine yesterday, I ordered a 12.2mm
- 3/8×10.

I own the following, engage 12.3, engage 11.8, revo 12.4 ,revo 11.8, tiger fortis 12.5, cynergy 10.5.

The rhino plays good , stiff hit , Id say its deflection is just about as low or nearly equal to any of the high end shafts I own within the same diameters.

The tip on the rhino is decent it plays kinda like moori med., I prefer ultraskin fire medium.

Id say out of every shaft I own the rhino plays most like the revo 12.4., Id say the energy transfer with the rhino is slightly more powerful.
(that could be due to the ultraskin fire med on the revo)

Also the white vault plate on rhino is bigger than the vault plate on the revo, the bigger vault plate is better for sighting imo.

Only had about 5hrs with it, but I know enough about it to say the rhino definitely has low deflection & plays just about as good as the revo 12.4 , which is kinda of the standard for many.

I still prefer the Tiger fortis over all of them because it has very low deflection & the feel/feedback is unparalleled vs's any other CF shaft Ive tried.

For the price of the rhino youd be a fool not to own 1.

now if only i can squirrel away enuf $$$ from xmas shopping to buy one... very cool stuff here, folks. Thanks for sharing

My break shaft arrived. It was well packaged and seems to be decent. I do feel a slight imperfection about 3/4 of the way up the shaft towards the collar. It might be the seam. It will probably be insignificant during play but I've not had a chance to test it out yet. It fits my cue nicely and the collar diameter was spot on as it lines up with the collar on the butt. I was a little miffed it didn't come with a joint protector, but I had a spare so no harm, no foul.

Well, I decided to reach out to Rhino Cues regarding the imperfection in the shaft I received. I messaged them on Facebook and will keep everyone posted on the customer service experience.

I ordered the carom one on 11/25 and it arrived 7d later...holidaze were in there.

I like that it has more or less a carom taper, unlike the revo, which I found indistinguishable from a pool taper.

Not yet had the chance to use it for its intended purpose. Soon, I hope.

I’m in, ordered today $169.15 all in.
12.4 Uniloc
I think l need a cue shaft case for all these shafts.

Update: After sending a pic and describing the flaw, they concluded it is a flaw in the manufacture of the tube. They are sending me a replacement and sent me a return label. I’m a little miffed they are charging me $15 shipping to send the replacement, but it is what it is. They said they will thoroughly inspect the replacement to ensure it is perfect and will ship as soon as I show proof I dropped off the return at USPS. All in all, I’m satisfied. They seem to stand by their product. Hopefully the replacement is perfect.

I have not hit mine yet but i must say that dealing with Rhino has been smooth sailing. They answered all my questions promptly and clearly, they updated all along the shipping route. Lot of companies could learn something from these guys in terms of cust. serv.

i just received a 3/8x10 .......11.8mm
it weighs 3.7 oz
more deflection than my revo
if anyone wants to buy it $125
PM me
In 30 years, I don’t think anyone has matched the Predator deflection. I think it’s due to their ferrule (and now vault plate) material. Besides the hollow region being a claim on the original 314 patent, the ferrule density and/or modulus of elasticity (how stiff it is) was also a claim on the original patent.

In your pictures, I see that you bought a shaft with a radial joint. In the other Rhino thread, someone said the pitch on Rhino's radial thread is different than a true/patented/American radial pin. Do you have an American radial pin on your butt?

I do and no fit prob at all.

I once had a radial that wouldn't thread easily onto my pin and an absolute cue genius told me to twist harder.

Metal wins every time.

are you sure? I thought it was described as a long pro taper?
