Rich Qs Brochure

Several people have wanted to do it. I have offered server disk space for it in the past.

It's hard to get it together. Gotta have time to do it.

I looked into free sites, and it looks like SimpleSite would be a free, easy way to go.

I have binders full of brochures, but by no means to I have them all. I was thinking in my free time I could scan them in, and then post them to the site. I'd aggregate the data by cue maker/brand. I'm looking into it, and will keep you guys posted.

In the mean time, I'm a buyer for your brochures. lol

I am thinking that itis a cue made prior to 1950 to 1940 and maybe 1930… The cue lathe and the routerattachment to the lathe came into play around 1960 when the cues started to haveinlays. This cue has 8 points which is rare. The joint is similar to an earlyBrunswick. I have the 1st edition of the Blue Book of Pool Cues. The encyclopedia of pool cues. My cousin Earl Strickland and I have followed theold master cue makers since 1973. This is my best guess. Maybe one of the otherbidders may know more than I. Thank you for listing and selling this old cue. (name of member omitted)

Wow. A real expert. And he has a Blue Book.

If you are willing to do it and keep it up I will put a link to it on The (ICA) International Cuemakers Association site.

Roger that. I am going to put one together with all the brochures that I own. I have some rare/obscure ones. I'll add as I find them, or if people provide good scans.

LOL. Ebay expert.

I hope you get it going.

At one time I had a repository of links. The problem was that many went away.

Example: Falcon had web pages with all their old catalogs. Gone

Joss has many of theirs online. Viking has theirs as well. McDermott has an archive.

But many that were online went away....

I am most interested in obscure and/or defunct makers.

Catalogs, brochures, and ads of old and/or antique cues, especially butterfly cues: Rieper, Katz, Saunier Wilhem, Luscher, National, J E Came, Oliver Briggs, Victor, Brunswick France, Brunswick Canada, Gauthier, Gus Adams, Schaaf, and more...

I am also looking for any old Cobra Professional ads, brochures, or catalogs. Any Gandy cue catalogs. Karl Mayer. More. ( I know the ones already posted)
.

Here is a pic of the 1976 Rich Q cues from their catalog. All I have is this picture, I don't have the catalog.

I'll have to look through my binders to see if I have any of those. I know I don't have any Cobra, and the only Karl Mayer one I have is the one most have already seen.

Thanks.

I believe I found the Cobra catalog. Just made a deal. I'll let you know when I get it.

I have some old Rich cue postcard pictures too, I'll post those when I get time.

Thanks for sharing. I have a Rich Cue and always wanted more info on it.

Looks to be in darn nice shape too. Top of the line. And ebony.

How long is it? I am aware of one of those at 60 inches.

.

One on the left is a Samsara Cue. It's my daily shooter. Great weight and balance. It's paired with a Samsara Tru Shaft and custom extension.

The next is an Alex Brick break cue with a leather wrap. It's a beast and all dymondwood.

The next is a 20 year old custom Jerry Olivier cue. Got it in a trade a few months ago. Very impressed with the cue.

Next is the Rich Cue. Always wanted one and outs in impeccable condition for its age.

Then the last is a brunswick centennial cue. Those are for the neighbors that stop by to shoot. Have another 3 of them.
