Maybe OT Dave.
Do you have a straight/single taper in your butts?

Sorry.dave sutton said:what is OT?
no i taper my cues in 2 pieces. the forearms to get the points perfect then the handle and buttsleeve together. the secret i guess is putting the cue together. havent had one wobble yet
cues with no points i do in one piece
some are misunderstanding that statement. read my post as a whole. anyone can take 1 sentence out of context
dave was stating that he had a problem with the Richard Harris tapers not the Capone tapervijesh said:I have not tried a capone but as dave mentioned the taper is a problem and the other thing is that the tip diameter you will not get a cue below 12.8mm if you are looking for one below that. But having said that his cues are really worth the money.... the shaft (finish) it self is worth the money.
Guys any idea what he coats them with.....
Thanks
Vijesh

OT means Off-topic.
One taper meaning the taper on the forearm and the handle to the sleeve are of the same angle/taper.
BH has compound tapers.
masonh said:DAve you still didn't answer Joey.are your cues straight line cues or what?
And skinny handle.masonh said:lots of cuemakers feel the compound taper makes for a stonger forearm and therefore can be made skinnier say .825 to .840 at the joint.
