Ripped off by Brian Kozy aka cSjOSs

Thanks Lisa, the AZ machine really kicks into gear when things like this happen. The goal is to get the item back, and as more bad guys come out of the woodwork, the AZ community is getting more sophisticated in dealing with them. Scammers beware, there are some powerful people on this forum.

did you leave feedback for him?

that's pretty much why I don't think this cat was trying to mastermind some fraud, hard to say for sure he might just be irresponsible and didn't send your stuff back in a timely manner, anyone could find his info on the net in about 30 seconds if they knew where to look.

He's definitely no "mastermind" but he does have a pattern of ripping people off.

It's a shame that he'll get off without any legal repercussions as he's now free to do it again.

I want to take this opportunity to thank the AZ Billiards community for the help & support that resulted in the return of my cue. It seems like it was an easy thing to do, but it wasn't. If not for the brilliant members of this forum, I would still be out the cue, and I can't thank everybody enough. The Masontown PD did make contact, but the cue was already on the way back by that time, thanks to you guys & gals.

The only thing I have heard from Brian Kozy through all of this, which has been a 2-month ordeal, is that he wants the pics of his family off the INTERNET. From what I can see, the pics have already been removed. As far as the links to My Space, it is up to the people that posted them, I can't edit someone else's post, and I'm not going to ask at this point.

These deal gone bad threads almost always seem to end up the same way. A cue is sent out, the owner exhausts all means short of legal action to get it back, a thread is started, and one way or the other public pressure forces the return of the cue. If you haven't been through it, it's very stressful because nobody likes to go public and admit that they were stupid and got ripped off. This was a classic one, and I feel a debt of gratitude to the AZ Community, and the Masontown police were right on too.

this is Great News that you finally have your cue back!

this is a Great Place with Great People!

all the best,
smokey

good news

I hope I was helpful,Ted. Itried to give you all the info I had. You're right this is a powerfull community and we stick together. We may have our disagreements but when push comes to shove we're there for each other. There are a few new people on here that will learn that or be gone. I love it and not ashamed to say you peope too!
