Ripped off by Brian Kozy aka cSjOSs

bbkozy is on-line right now. I'm willing to bet that this thread gets pulled pretty soon, with the disclosure of personal information. Be careful about how you do these threads. You want to let everyone know about crooks like Mr. Kozy, but you dont want the thread to get closed.

He Tried

He tried to get me for my JW and even called me and emailed me. his email adress is>bbkozy@hotmail.com
I guess he thougt I wouldn't do my homework.

Thanks Dawg

I have also agreed to ride out to Pennsylvania just to testify if he gets arrested. I doubt I will get the cue back, but he will do some time for a felony theft, and I will see to it no matter how much it costs. I like Pennsylvania and West Virginia anyway and would like to take a road trip. Apparently Masontown is surrounded by West Virginia.

I will ask Officer Yeager to contact the Pittsburgh PD if that is where he lives. The Masontown PD is also going to go the the postal service and get them involved. He actually brought up the USPS before I did. I guess the cops aren't so bad when you need them. He seemed very interested in this case, but he doesn't know Brian. Brian is probably from Pittsburgh which explains some things.

Thank you very much. I don't want to annoy anyone, but I am going to continue to post on this thread until I get some kind of resolution to this issue. I've contacted the mods to see if it is in the proper section, but other similar threads have been started in the WFS area and since he has for sale threads going, it makes sense to keep it here. If I move it to the main forum, some unsuspecting or new members may get stuck like I did.

This was great information. I am in contact with the Masontown, PA police department Officer Mike Yeager. I just sent this information along with receipts, delivery confirmation, and pics of the cue. The information provided by the AZB community has helped, especially when you are trying to get whatever info you can to the police. Thank you very much. Excellent! As I previously stated....persistence is key. Too often people like this are banking on the fact that people will give up and not make the added effort...they are actually shocked when they get a knock on the door from the police with an arrest warrant in hand.

I looked at the one or two positive Itraders and didn't look any farther. Since this forum is such a great place to buy-sell-trade billiard items, and at the time he was selling stuff, I figured he wouldn't want to ruin his rep over a Pechauer. If someone was going to ruin their reputation on the largest billiards forum in the world, why would they do it over a Pechauer production cue. The amount of money that cue would sell for could be made quickly on future deals, and where else can you go except Ebay.

My goal is to make sure he never sells anything on AZB and any other billiard forums out there.

Hi folks

There may be some resolution coming on this issue. I am posting this publicly to to represent trust and good faith one more time. Upon delivery of the cue I will certainly post the news on a different thread. I am not however going to call off the investigation, but I will let them know when I get a tracking number, that the matter could be settled. In addition, I don't want this thread to die completely and it would be good for all of us including Brian, if he sends the cue out quickly, along with a PM showing the tracking number.

I have received a lot of information privately and publicly thanks to the great members on AZB that got involved. It's not over, but it could be close.

Bump to the front page.
I wish you the best Ted.
I hope you get your cue back.
Jeff

Its shame that cSjOSs try to rip Ted off this way. Ted is one of the best guys on this site. Good luck Buddy.

I have the cue

I want to take this opportunity to thank the AZ Billiards community for the help & support that resulted in the return of my cue. It seems like it was an easy thing to do, but it wasn't. If not for the brilliant members of this forum, I would still be out the cue, and I can't thank everybody enough. The Masontown PD did make contact, but the cue was already on the way back by that time, thanks to you guys & gals.

The only thing I have heard from Brian Kozy through all of this, which has been a 2-month ordeal, is that he wants the pics of his family off the INTERNET. From what I can see, the pics have already been removed. As far as the links to My Space, it is up to the people that posted them, I can't edit someone else's post, and I'm not going to ask at this point.

These deal gone bad threads almost always seem to end up the same way. A cue is sent out, the owner exhausts all means short of legal action to get it back, a thread is started, and one way or the other public pressure forces the return of the cue. If you haven't been through it, it's very stressful because nobody likes to go public and admit that they were stupid and got ripped off. This was a classic one, and I feel a debt of gratitude to the AZ Community, and the Masontown police were right on too.

Thanks Lisa, the AZ machine really kicks into gear when things like this happen. The goal is to get the item back, and as more bad guys come out of the woodwork, the AZ community is getting more sophisticated in dealing with them. Scammers beware, there are some powerful people on this forum.

All pics that I can tell have been removed from this thread a long time ago.

If he wants them off the internet he would have to make his myspace account private or dont post them publically, they are from his myspace page which he decided to make a public.

it's not rocket science or some *hacked* private pics, go to myspace and put in his name and pennsylvania, they pop right up.

that's pretty much why I don't think this cat was trying to mastermind some fraud, hard to say for sure he might just be irresponsible and didn't send your stuff back in a timely manner, anyone could find his info on the net in about 30 seconds if they knew where to look.

Either way, glad you got it all settled.
