Road Warrior Cue

Wow!

Rick,
All I can say is WOW! I'm a friend of JE54 and saw this link while perusing around. That is an awesome thing you do for someone ordering a custom cue!

Threads like this will get you many more orders I'm sure. If I'm ever in the market, you just moved to the top of my list just for the care and customer service of taking these pics and keeping the buyer informed of the progress this way!

Congrats to you Pookster! I'd be drooling if this were my cue.

One fine cue

Nice of you to post that from build start Rick. Found this on accident. Wondered how things were done in progression. The fellow who got this surly bust be very pleased.

I did write down your handle for future ref. Thanks again - Dave

Thanks Guys,

My CNC was down for over 3 weeks and finally am back in business.

I will be doing the final pics in a few days and posting them with my good camera on Cue and Case Gallery with a link to this thread for the progress pics of the build.

Pook has been overseas and will be taking delivery of this cue at the end of the month.

He was nice enough to let me keep it another week so I can have it at the Windy City Cue Show on Oct 5th.

This cue was designed by Pookester to some very exacting player's standards concerning weight, balance and a special length. It also has some very special GE Micarta Ferrules with asbestos that are very hard, yet are very quiet.

The inlay and veneer stack design he came up with is very appealing and I personally like it very much.

Beautiful work Rick!!! Pookie is a great player, so it will be cool to see this beauty in action!!

Pool,

I will be taking pics of your cue with my high res SLR camera on Sunday.

Pooksteer's Road Warrior Cue will be showcased in "Cue and Case Gallery" with a link to this progress thread also.

Thanks for working with me. I loved bringing your design and exacting playing requests and specs to life.

Rick

wow

If ever there was a pictorial that justifies the cost of custom cues this is it. Very Nice indeed.
