NEW YORK (PIX11)— Port Authority officials announced that JFK, Newark Liberty, and La Guardia airports will be open Monday morning.
Incoming flights will be able to touch down at JFK and Newark Liberty starting at 6 a.m., with departures possible at noon.
La Guardia will be open for departures and arrivals at 7 a.m.
Travelers are being urged to contact their airlines for details on potential delays and cancellations. Public transportation to the airports will be unreliable; the MTA still doesn't have a timetable for restoring subway service.
Stewart International airport will also resume flights Monday, but travelers are urged to contact their individual carriers to determine the status of their flights.
Teterboro Airport was hit with flooding problems and Port Authority has not yet announced when flights will be cleared for departure and arrival.
Full PATH rail service in New York and New Jersey will resume at 4 a.m. Monday. The Port Authority's Hudson River crossings and Staten Island bridges already are in full operation, with E-ZPass and cash tolls being accepted. Customers are reminded to check
