I debated with myself long and hard whether or not to post this publicly. Life is too short.

First of all................I have never heard of this person before I received this very telling PM. I'm not familar with his cues. I really have no idea how he singled me out.

I'm a cue collector who loves the hobby and post stuff from my collection on "The Cue Gallery" from time to time. I've been collecting for around 22 years and have been extremely lucky to have worked with some of the very best. I very seldom ever post anything negative. Bottom line is l just love cues.

Then out of the blue, this evening I receive a very random PM from cue maker Robert Harris who I have no idea who he is. I am not gonna degrade him like he did me.

Before you ever spend any money with this man, I think you need to read this to see what type person you're dealing with.

I have removed the very degrading PM that was sent to me. I thought a lot about it and discussed with a few members from here that I highly respect. The main reason I did was out of respect to both Tony and Barry. I was also insulted greatly, but I can handle it. In 12 hours, it already had over a thousanfd hits.So my point was delivered to a lot of good members of AZ.I was so pissed yesterday, I wanted to handle it differently, but l tried to relay the message as calmly as possible. The guy definitely has some major issues. It's not the first time he has done it. I just hope it has cost him some business.

LOL @ how he managed to throw in the comment about his net worth. That'll surely validate his opinion!
 
I have been a victim of his PM skills myself. Just came out of the blue. Insulting my cue making skills. two years later, after I commented on his PM in the gallery. He sent a PM saying he was sorry.

Well not sure what to say...jimmy everyone who knows anything about az or cue collecting knows different....yout a true class act who has top tier taste and a top tier peRsonality....best regards..

If Jimmy says it happened....it happened. However, Jimmy, I do not want to see you stuck with these $1,000 BB and Barry's. I feel bad to see you out so much. I will take the hit and buy every one sight unseen for double that $1,000 figure just to show you how nice I am. "Who is looking out for you?" :thumbup:

Robert Harris obviously has some serious issues. He is nothing more than a cue design thief and a jealous cuemaker wannabe. He has made a habit of sending unprovoked, nasty PM's to well respected members. It's very sad indeed.

He hasn't PM'd me about my Player's cue. Of course, it's pretty hard to dis a Player's.

Don't forget that a "seven-figure income" can be $12,397.47.
 
I don't like to wish bad on anybody but i'm glad this D bag is finally getting exposed for what he is!
 
Wow what a very rude statement. Hope he can move on be better individual towards respect of boars! By way 30 years of collecting cues and dodging boars was a huge mistake until recently i decided to try 1. Not looking back. Reason why they demand the coins! I learned hard way! Fantastic craftsmanship and playability that just keeps getting better as tony progresses thru out his carrier. All opinion but for me 1 of very best in world for a player & collector! Will have more to come as well!

I sent Mr. Harris a PM last year about one of his 25th anniversary cues that he posted in the Cue Gallery. The logo he used really looked _ucked up.......he wrote in large fonts "25 th Anniversary" and I merely pointed out ....in a private PM to Mr. Harris.....that his logo was grammatically incorrect. The th needed to immediately follow the number 25........25th rather than 25 th.....which was the way he inscribed the cue......the space between the number and the th was enormous and it made it look like there was missing letters or something...... I thought he might want to fix it before the cue was sold.

Mr. Harris definitely did not care for my observation, even though he knew I was right and tells me know to mind my own business .......he ucks up the logo and it's my fault for pointing it out to him.....duh? It was a nice looking cue but the special logo he used made it look really odd......whomever owns this cue knows what I mean.....it's supposed to be "25th Anniversary".....not "25 th Anniversary". Right then and there I just knew Mr. Harris was a cue-maker I wanted to avoid and have no regrets about doing that.

Please make yourselves known so that I can send you rude and obnoxious pm's. I make this statement as someone who owns his own bicycle and ratty apartment. If that is not enough I'd like to point out that I also ran out a rack of 9 ball on a bar box once, a couple of years ago, so there!

Goes by "harris cue comp" here if I'm not mistaken. He seems to limit his rants to PMs. Mostly knocks around in the classifieds and an occasional "ask the cuemaker" post.
 
If he has indeed harassed our honorable members with his un-solicited PM's this should be taken up with forum management and he should be banned.

Never heard of such a thing. Hope he PM's me. I will not post up and snivel but rifle back at the tool with utter disregard then report his poor behavior and bad form to proper AZ authorities.
