I've about finished the whole set. Thats some great action, and dialogue. I would say though, that I think Ronnie's game was a little on the downside. While he played very good, I have seen him play much much better in the 70's and early 80s. My guess, about 1.5 to 2.0 balls better.

I staked Ronnie in the 1984 One Pocket tourney at Red's in Houston. 32 strong players in that field. Ronnie won that one beating Jeff Carter in the Finals. That may have been the tail end of his dominant days.
My guess is that the Ronnie of the 70's could have given this Ronnie (circa 1987) one ball, as in 8-7. What I like about these DVD's is you can still some some of his brilliance and creativity here. He just didn't run out quite as strong.
