It's possible that I'll be in it briefly. I was his "designated eight ball sucker" for one of the segments in California.

Ronnie was very nice in person -- positive, enthusiastic, and friendly. He was traveling with a film crew or maybe six or seven.
And he's not a very good hustler as he rarely misses. That's not a good way to set the hook.

Bob !

Ronnie O'Sullivan believes the £1 million Home Nations Series bonus is out of reach

Quote :

"I don't think (the clean sweep) can be done - that's one down and 27 to go! For someone to win 28 matches in four specific tournaments is a massive ask but anything's possible.

"If you speak to an optimist, he'll say it can be done but, if you speak to a pessimist, he'll say it wouldn't be able to done. I'm a bit of a pessimist, so I'm saying it can't be done."

I say that this is Mission Impossible to win these 4 Open ranking title events .;)

Ronnie O'Sullivan: Snooker tournaments 'are like buses'

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/snooker/37640739

I don't know about you but I prefer to walk to the next bus stop rather than wait for a bus saves you some bus fare and sometimes before you know it you have arrived at your destination so I suppose Ronnie is right .

There's that many Snooker tournament's it's getting like the US P.G.A Golf tour or the P.D.C Darts tour hahaha !:grin-square:

He can thank Barry Hearn for that one !:grin-square:

They did!

Since this is a Ronnie thread: I'll regale you with a Ronnie story while he was in Chicago.

I met Ronnie while he was at Chicago Billiard Cafe. No AC on a very hot day.
I introduced myself to the director, producer, cameramen and host and Raj made my introduction to Ronnie.
Everyone was awesome and I was a bit fan girlie. That was a Wednesday.
There were huge storms coming in and lots of lightning, but there was a rainbow that encompassed the whole of downtown with the lightning stretching toward it!
Yes the heavens rejoiced!
I caught the tail end of it and took a picture and my roommate caught the whole rainbow from our balcony.

Anyhow, the next time I saw Ronnie was Friday. I knew where he was going to be, so I arrived early.
I was asked to stay out of the the shots but all was good, though I could hear the director asking where did I come from, am I "okay" and how I knew where they were.
I got a thumbs up.
Plus I had a chance to get autographs and give prezzies.

The last time I saw Ronnie was Sunday.
Outside the director was interviewing Nick Varner and I was behind them.
The director must've sensed me because he whipped around and said
"HI Angel, everything good? You doing okay?"

Realizing he wanted me to take a walk, I say to Nick,
"Catch up with you later Nicky" and I dash.
I promised I wouldn't show any footage but I can show a couple of stills. I guess I haven't divulged too much but, once it airs. Hoo-Wee!
