Since this is a Ronnie thread: I'll regale you with a Ronnie story while he was in Chicago.
I met Ronnie while he was at Chicago Billiard Cafe. No AC on a very hot day.
I introduced myself to the director, producer, cameramen and host and Raj made my introduction to Ronnie.
Everyone was awesome and I was a bit fan girlie. That was a Wednesday.
There were huge storms coming in and lots of lightning, but there was a rainbow that encompassed the whole of downtown with the lightning stretching toward it!
Yes the heavens rejoiced!
I caught the tail end of it and took a picture and my roommate caught the whole rainbow from our balcony.
Anyhow, the next time I saw Ronnie was Friday. I knew where he was going to be, so I arrived early.
I was asked to stay out of the the shots but all was good, though I could hear the director asking where did I come from, am I "okay" and how I knew where they were.
I got a thumbs up.
Plus I had a chance to get autographs and give prezzies.
The last time I saw Ronnie was Sunday.
Outside the director was interviewing Nick Varner and I was behind them.
The director must've sensed me because he whipped around and said
"HI Angel, everything good? You doing okay?"
Realizing he wanted me to take a walk, I say to Nick,
"Catch up with you later Nicky" and I dash.
I promised I wouldn't show any footage but I can show a couple of stills. I guess I haven't divulged too much but, once it airs. Hoo-Wee!
Cheers To Living History and
