Ronnie's 147 in HD!

And the funny thing is that he was just going to claim the frame after the pink because there was no special award for having a maximum at that event.

A great tactic to get a rest, and study the table for another runout.
Ask a question and stall for time.
He is amazing at the ability of running a max in competition.

The problem I have with watching european snooker videos I find is that they always just show 1 player running out a high break and game over. Can any of you guys post some links to videos of entire matches, I want to see em playing the entire game, offense and defense. Thanks

There are many full matches on YouTube that span high breaks and delicate safety bouts. Like you, I'm also a fan of a balanced game and I relish tactical match play-- it's a true indication of experience and sound judgment to be able to have such fine control of the white. The matches are there, just know who you are searching for. If your search criterion is a big name like O'Sullivan or Hendry, then it's obvious that you won't find a good balanced match. Try these names for more defensive play:

Shaun Murphy
Marcu Fu
Mark Williams
Ding Junhui
Mark Selby
John Higgins
Joe Perry
Stephen Lee

I really enjoyed this 147, really something to behold. I have never played snooker before but would like to try it, pool is very tough and I can only imagine how brutal that 6 by 12 is. :)

Search for "thekingofcrucible" he has uploaded many matches in their entirety, and the quality is very high too. I reccomend the Selby-Higgins game from the world championship 2009. Excellent match.

If you Search here on AZB in the Snooker section for VIDEO in the title, you will find threads devoted to video links to matches.
However, most originate with the BBC.
Mother is very protective.
You will probably find the many have been removed.
But people keep reposting them on youtube.

If you search youtube for playlists you can find linked clips

Try searching google video. Using the filters on the left hand side, you can search for only for 20 min+ vids. You'll find many from Youku.com. It's a little slow but, theres tons of snooker there.

They are indeed offensive powerhouses, but when O'Sullivan is in the mood he can lay down some killer defense too. Love watching it when he does.
