room size help

i'm not very good at laying out 2 tables in a room, i have a extra room in my house thats 19'3" X 28'9" is that big enough for a 9' and a bar box without being crowded? or should i just stick with the 9' box, its just going to be used for the tables for a year until I turn that room into a theater and put the tables in the billiard room, but due to construction phases, $$$$ etc. the space above is what i have to deal with for now, it has a 12' celing and bathroom so it will be great, but i dont want to cram the boxes in there, i want to do it right and have room for video cameras.

please help, i am useless at organizing thngs like this....as simple as it is, i'm just not good at it so any advice is sincerly appericated.

sorry fatboy thats not gonna get it done! 19 is wide enough but you need a minamum of39 feet long!

It'll work and I'll tell you how we'll do it tomorrow. One clue, it's a T shape.

thats what i was thinking a T shape but i suck at layouts-my brain just dosent work like that, end to end isnt the plan, the bar box is secondary anyways,

This is enough room. Your not running the tables end to end. If you run them side to side you have ample room. This will give you about 5 feet between and all the way around and alittle extra for seating on both sides.
 
Jay should I use the GC4 or the Centennial? They will be set up for a year in there perhaps 18 months. I want to have both set up in the long run, i think I would like to keep the GC as the tougher table and the centennial a easier table-4.5" pockets at the most maybe 4 3/8", the GC I want at 4". whats the best plan???????????
 
Just lay it out on graph paper. Scale it at 1/4"=1 ft. or 1/2"=1ft. Should work out just fine!!

This will give you an idea how big your room will look, cause mine is almost the same size, my room is 30'x22' and I got lots of room.You'll have the room you need.

Fatboy,

Measure the table top and length. Add 60 inches for stick length (on rail shots) for each side. Should be okay.

5 foot for cue + 4 foot for bar table table top +5 foot for cue + 5 foot table top ( regulation size) + 5 foot for cue = 24 foot

10 foot for length of big table + 5 foot for cue + 5 foot for cue = 20 foot

Run them side by side and the length for the big table will be only touchy when shooting off the rail. But should be fine.

Run the length of the tables in the 19' 3" diection. The other way you will have about a little room extra

The "T" configuration would yield a larger informal "lounge" area.

4.5 inch pockets on the Centennial will be fine, and play plenty tough. They are stiff pockets on that table. That table is so PRIMO it belongs in it's own room, by itself! You know a nicely set up room for special occasions or special games.

All other games can be on the GC4 (4.25" pockets are fine) or the bar box, which can be in the other room. There are a couple of configurations that will work okay and I can show you later. In fact, I'll bring you a layout when I come over for Allen's tourney next week.

He is correct also! Plenty of room either way. Actually the T shape is a little tighter but adequate. It may look nicer though and be more comfotable seating wise. I'll show you.
