**Got this one back today and I am ecstatic!**

Eric had told me about a cue he was working on for himself late last year and said that it was going to be special. I twisted his arm fairly hard and he finally agreed to sell it to me. He used some new techniques and it WORKED. I am serious when I say this SugarTree plays better than any other SugarTree out there. Eric told me the same thing but I didnt believe it until I played with this thing. Anyways, on to the photos.

Brazilian Rosewood into Kamphi Rosewood, Maple Recuts, and topped off with a Copper Joint.

Beautiful Crisp cue! Nice to see Eric still making cues!
Thanks for the show

Outstanding cue. Love Eric's work. And, in spite of so many new features it is instantly recognizable as a Sugartree cue. Congrats.

That's sweet sweet sugar right there. Love the overall look of this cue.

The cue looks balanced and I like the copper sleeved joint. I wonder if it will tarnish? Maybe not since it's under clear. Eric is always trying to improve what already is a fantastic cue, and that is the hallmark of a true master.

You are spot on.

Sugartrees are known for playability, Eric can go on all the time making cues like he has been making, but he chose to try new things cues after cues.

No doubt this one plays well, every Sugar I have plays well, even a purposely break cue.

I will be following this cue :D

Without someone else playing with this cue its hard to describe how much different it plays than a typical Sugar. Not sure this one will leave the stable but I may make room for her in the stable :).

The cue plays great just a bit stiffer than normal but not by much as the copper is a sleeved over phonelic. I have tried that cue for about an hour or so.

Is the joint below the copper phenolic or ivory??

Can't stop looking at this. You weren't lying when you told me it was gonna be a great looker.

Titanium pin like mine too :D

Love it.

It's a wood to wood joint...

That is a wood to wood joint with a copper sleeve on top of phenolic sleeve.

I'm not sure about the copper joint. It's hard to tell from the pics, but are there also copper rings in the ring work??? If so then I like the copper sleeved joint.

In that light though I don't really like it. I think slightly thicker or doubled up copper ring work would bring it out better.

There no copper in the ring work at all. The copper joint have a wavy look to it. Which looks pretty cool in person. I have seen and play with this cue and play awesome like the rest of other cue made by Eric.

You should try to get a picture of the grain in the handle in the sunlight.

It looks like ebony with how dark it is.

Is it really that dark in person? This is one of my favorite newer Sugartrees.

This and the rosewood burl one Quality Cues had. Love em so much.
