royal oak tips?

Cheap, thin & they mushroom about as bad as any tip I've ever seen.
I hope you weren't looking for something positive.
IIRC, the last box that I bought was about 15+ yrs. ago and it was $9.
I don't see them giving Moori or Kamui many sleepless nights.

I second that opinion. I tried some on housecues but the mushrooming was too bad.

d_flash...looking for the next (better) cheap tip for housecues.

What's wrong with LePros? Theyre like 20 dollars for a box of 50. That's pretty cheap imo.

Nothing, but the topic is about Royal Oak tips. ;)

Having said that, I'll stay away from Royal Oak, it's not worth it.

Royal Oak = The worst tip on the face of the planet.

Based on the amount of effort to re-tip a cue and the cost of good inexpensive tips on the market...I'm not sure why anyone would bother.

Mind you I'm a Moori user and on the other side of the marketplace. I would rather glue on a cigarette filter.

yup, I put one on my wifes old cue, and that damn tip shroomed like a nuke bomb, and it ruined the hit. i had a few, and after that, I threw them away.

a buddy of mine owns a bar and i know for a fact that he needs some replacement tips. i figured i'd get him some cheap and do it for him. i guess these won't be what i end up using

thanks for the input though

Elk Master - they mushroom a ton - but if you can trim them back,
once they pound all the way down - they are a very tuff and sturdy tip.
IMHO - The best choice for house cues used by bangers.
