1 ball to break out

Hit the one with mild top right, you will hit the head rail and come back for the breakout. I think I wore off the felt on the side pocket titty trying to get the speed right. Also you dont want to hit the four to flush unless you pound them. Stuck there too way too many times.

Gotta hit that pretty good to avoid the 3 and 8.

Nice Graphics!

I went into the other corner straight in w/out all the back and forth. What I found was the best chances were when you hit just short of the side pocket and skin the 7 ball away from the four. I wound up hitting the four way too many times and saftied by either the four or seven or both. Like I said I had to make a great cross bank to the corner (closest to where the 2 starts) to get out. I have only done it once again but it included two banks because I got so out of line.

Just do it the easy way guys, shoot the one in the side pocket and just follow it into the 4. The 4 pretty much stays right there, and the 7 goes towards the 9. Just don't hit it so hard that the 7 ties up with the 9. Then shoot the 2 in the corner with left english to get the cb to the side rail. Make the 3 with a slight amount of draw to come over for the 4. Make the 4 in the corner. Shoot the 5 and come two rails to the 6 in the bottom corner. Follow a little for the 7. Get an angle on the 8 and draw back off it for the 9. Cut the 9 in and just go up table for the 10.

WHOOPS!! Just noticed the headstring is at the other end of the table. Oh well, it works great when someone didn't mark the headstring at the wrong end of the table.

Shoot the one into the left corner and spint the cue ball out of the right pocket to hit the 8 ball face on. This will give an angle to come right in behind the 7 off of the two and move it out of there while moving past the six for shape on the 3. Took me about a half hour to run this one.

I submit the hardest part of actually taking down the cheese is moving your camera around to show the frozen balls before each attempt and then setting it up to see the table. That part will get old way fast. I doubt they will let that slide and pay the cash. I also put clear reinforcement circles at the spot of the 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 balls. Makes setting it back up way less of a chore after missing the one ball repeatedly.

I tried it that way for a while but missed the one ball way too much using inside english. The good part is when you miss from there most of the time no other balls are disturbed making reset easy.

leave it alone.

The only ball that needs to move the whole game is the 7. Someone mentioned shooting the one in the side? From the kitchen? Anyway, make the one by placing the cue about 3 inches away from rail behind the 7 (again, in the kitchen) top right, bust them out or rub the seven where the 4 will go down rail. The rest is alot of back and forth. I dont mean to make it sound easy but moving all the balls is wasted effort.

Wrong end of the table? That is where the headstring is, oppositte end from the footspot.

Deadline

Is there a deadline? It is supposed to rain all weekend here in Austin. Looks like the yard work can wait. The new keg in the background might be on you.

No deadline, but judging by your efforts, everyone on here, and those on Facebook, we will have a winner by Sunday. Good luck!

Nice job man! I think your way is the best strategy. Wish I could have been off work.

I really enjoyed this thread. Cool idea! And great shooting Daniel. Congratulations!

Nice contest and good out Daniel. I went to the poolroom with intentions to do this but the place was packed so I played some $50 sets instead, won 3 so I am not butt hurt about not completing the challenge.

What I liked about this was that it wasn't some armchair crap. Or if someone threw something outrageous out there, they are challenged to show how easy their plan turned out.

I didn't read the rules, so I thought you had to get out from where the cue ball was. I think you could still get out with a very lucky first shot. If anyone wants to try it, I will not put up a $100 bucks, but it might be fun!
