sailor cues

My friend just ordered a Sailor cue from an old cuemaker in Wisconsin. His name is Frank Stellman but he's pretty old and I doubt if he will be making any more cues. My friend just got pics of the finished cue and Frank offered to deliver the cue in NYC since he has been wanting to visit NY for a decade. Hopefully he won't drive, and let a friend drive! Sorry, I don't have any contact info because Frank is very reclusive.

Frank is a great guy and his shop is like a mini museum. He's not blessed with much patience LOL he watched me shoot on his table for an hour without saying a word. Then announced that I would play better if I had a 59" cue!! He was right!!!!!!!!!!!! There are a couple members here that are very close with him and I'll send their names in a PM if the OP wants them. I last saw Frank at a bank pool tournament at Red Shoes about 6 months ago and he looked pretty well for an old dog..

looking to get in touch with the guy that makes sailor cues. can anyone help me out?
A Sailor cue was the first cue I bought in 1974. Gave it to a girlfriend before going into the army . Plain Jane with leather wrap. Tried to buy it back in the middle 80's, but she wouldn't part with it. Paid a 100 for it. Frank didn't much like nine ball being changed to one foul ball in hand from roll out. Glad to know he is still alive.
