Anyone having issues with samsara break tips popping off?

I have been having a bunch popping off, almost to the point that I don't want to install them any more.

I have been using a bunch of different cyano's and a couple different epoxies with equally disturbing results.

Who has been having good luck, and what type of adhesive are you guys using?

I've had mine on since last yr during SBE, and zero issues. Maybe its the glue that's put on? I got mine installed by Mike Gulyassy at the expo.

I use 454 and have only had a problem with one of them. That was on a cheap cue with a junk ferrule. Replaced the ferrule and it's been on since. I also cut them down about half the height.

I had a white diamond tip pop off twice on the same stick. I changed the ferrule and no more problems. I glued it on the same way with 454 ca. i don't know what the ferrule was but it cut like cheap plastic. I replaced it with a dymond wood ferrule.

Hmm, the real trouble makers have been predator bk's...........I tried putting a wafer on the bk-1, stayed on for a while then popped

Mind you, my buddy has a huge break too......also popped from a bk-2 with half the carbon fiber wafer still on

maybe I should replace the ferrulles with juma or something and see if that helps

I called OB to ask what kind of glue they used for there samsara tips on there break cues and they said to use loctite professional. I haven't had any problems with it since. I also heard that you need to wear down the tip to about half to 3/4 down.

since posting this question, I have not had another pop off :)

must just be lucky

I have been using Loctite Ultra gel for a long time with exception to the cheap plastic ferulles I have no problems at all. Usually when I see the cheap plastic ferulles I just replace them also!!!
