Samsara Cues?

I repped Samsara cues for 8 years, and still play with them. They are great playing cues. Their designs are unsurpassed in the industry.

I just bought the jump break cue by Samsara, and was really disappointed in the shaft quality. The butt is beautifully constructed, but the shaft itself has a low number of growth rings, a lot of sugar marks, mineral inclusions, and the finish feels similar to a popsicle stick.
The shaft on my old players cue is better quality wood.
That being said, it does break well - probably because the tip - so I guess I'll just have to add a shaft burnisher to the shopping list.

Samsara cues are extremely well crafted here in the USA. They use superb hardwoods and the shafts I receive for the cues I sell are always very nice. Great attention to detail. As long as the cue you are considering is in the weight range you prefer, I believe you'll be real pleased with Samsara. I'll offer conditional buyer approval on any Samsara cue in stock.

thanks Scott; they must be pretty good if you say so. I was just amazed at how nice they look for the price but haven't seen anyone say anything about them. thanks again.
they play great, i have a fancy one that was more of a "Show" cue than a player, its on the cover of one of the Blue Books, its called "Eye of the Tiger" I think, its snake wood, ivory some fancy stone's. beatiful one of a kind looking cue. I have played lots with it, infact even in action. It's one hell of a player.
I have also played with their "Bar Cues" and they are great, I have one, I disagree with their marketing and only supplying one shaft with them, I think they could raise the price and sell it with 2 shafts and do better, but thats my opinion. Jim Stadum 50% of Samsara from my understanding is a hell of a guy and I like him lots, I told him about the 2 shaft thing. thats a business thing,
Back to cues, I have played with several others and they have been solid cues. I recommend them to anyone and i'm not much of a cheer leader recommending cues. There is a short list of cues I do recommend and Samsara is on that list, call Jim tell him fatboy says hello. I like him, even if I didnt I'd still reccomend their cues. I'm not selling cues for a friend here. I just like their cues and jim too:thumbup:.

You will be making a first class investment in an absolutely stellar product. I have used, owned and sold Samsara cues for almost 20 years since they started in NH and they are absolutely top notch in terms of looks and playability. They do have a rather stiff crisp hit as someone previously stated and that where it becomes subjective. Fatboy is 100% right that Jim is a gem when it comes to customer service as well and just a cool cat....You will not be disappointed with one of their cues.
