Good luck! If anyone can win it is you, you got to much heart to lose. Don't let anyone slow play you get the shot clock. Every one is pulling for you. Play your game and you will do well.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the support.

And everyone else I think you can tell that I have made it safe and sound to San Diego. All of the fun starts tomorrow night. I will let everyone know how the draw goes.

Take care.

See ya in about 16 hours Sarah. Meanwhile If you see any sane quiet person out there looking for a roomie for the weekend, Im solo. Also say hello to Homey for me. He should be in the office or sunning himself on the 2nd floor.

Like to see you make it to the TV round this week. If you do-Ill try to stay over. Ok Later

San Diego? That's a two hour drive from LA!! Why don't you give us a visit, I would like you to kick somebody's ass for me. Beating them at 9-ball, would be nice too =P. Let me know if you visit, though. I'd like to meet you.

Anyway, the best of luck in San Diego, although if you play as good as you are nice, you won't need it. Gosh, does that make sense? I hope it does.

Thank you for the support everyone.

marigold, good to hear from you. I'll have your program for you. I will get it to you soon.

dismalist, thank you. If it is that close maybe you should drive here? I will try and work out a little more so I can come kick someones butt for you. Oh nevermind, I will work on my pool game and then come visit. Hopefully I will make it there someday.

And now on to the good stuff. I play at 10am against Martha Hartsell from Oregon. If Allison Fisher and I both win our matches we play each other in the second round. We will see what happens.

Melissa Herndon plays at 2:30 against Ellie Chang from New York City.

Take care everyone and I will hopefully be back with a good update.

Good Luck Sarah!,

Do well and thanks for all of your updates. They will help us East coast folks keep up. Play your game and try to use other's against them.

Jerry

Well, first round is over. I won my match against Martha Hartsell 9-4. I got a little lucky and she was unlucky. She had some unfortunate rolls late in a few racks. Good luck to her in the second round.

Next up is Allison Fisher. Nothing like a nice skill tester second round huh? She is human and humans are not perfect, so I have a chance. I will try to play my game and see what happens.

Melissa Herndon was still playing her match when I left. Sorry I don't have an update for you on that.

I learned some things today though. First, 10am is really early! Second, that my diabetes is not cured even though I got an insulin pump. There are still ups and downs and I have been lucky enough to have a lot of downs all day. My bloodsugar was very low during my first match. Hopefully I can get things under control before my match at 7pm tonight. If not, it will be a long week!

Take care everyone and I will be back with an update later tonight

Sarah

Good luck against Allison, Sarah. Capitalize on any little mistake she makes and kick some ass.

She is not unbeatable. Just ask Arizona's very own Angel Paglia. If Angel can beat Allison, then so can you.

Well, I wish I had good news to report, but I don't. I played a horrible match against the best player in the world. I would be lying if I said I didn't have my chances. Allison played well and got some great rolls. (things that happen when you are the best) I lost 9-1. It was truly awful. But thank God they made a thing called tomorrow! Tomorrow can't go as bad as today.

Hopefully I will be back tomorrow with a good report. I play either Fran Crimi or Debbie Schjodt at 2:30 tomorrow.

Take care everyone.

Hello Sarah

Don't let the loss bother you too much. Play tomorrow(today) like you own the table. You have the skills to back it up. Run'em out...

Sarah,
Sorry to hear about the Allison Fisher results (she can play a little bit), keep a good positive attitude. Good luck.

Unfortunately the person I wanted you to beat was Allison (you can still beat her up, though!).

j/k, j/k. Sorry to hear about the match. I know you tried your best and that's all that matters, right? It's hard to beat someone who sold her soul to the devil.

Oh, and trust me, if I was able to make it to San Diego, I would be there right now admiring everyone's skill and cheering you on.

Good luck with the rest of the tourney. Take it easy.

Thank you everyone. I'm sorry to disappoint with the loss to Allison. She is the best and that is all there is to say. Next time it will be different.

I got lucky to win my match today against Debbie Schjodt. She was playing really well and I was not playing well at all. She was winning 7-3 and I came back to win. It was a tough match to play. She is a good friend of mine and I didn't want either of us to lose but unfortunately one of us had to go.

My next match is tonight at 10:30pm against Melissa Little. It will be a tough match. Hopefully I can get back in shape before this match. I will keep everyone updated.

Melissa Herndon is playing well. She plays tonight. I will have an update later.

I owe an apology to those in attendance. I haven't been feeling well so I am not my normal self. I don't want everyone to think I always look so sluggish and careless. Hopefully I will be back to my normal self tonight.

Take care everyone,
Sarah

Way to go Sarah. Debbie plays a good game.

I am betting the rain up there is not helping you feel any better. From one diabetic to another, take care of yourself and pay attention to what your body is telling you about your blood sugar.

Mike

nice win over melissa here is your chance for some revenge get the shot clock after the first game that should be 30-40 min. keep playing hard
