Sarah Rousey on ESPN 2

Thanks everyone.

SJM, I remember that (how could I forget!) but the cueball was on the back rail, almost frozen. That shows that I was young and a little stupid. I had no fear back then. I don't know if I would do the same thing nowadays.

E. Thanks for always being there. You've been cheering me on a long time!

sk8ordie...thank you. I'm not so young, but I am new to tv. I certainly hope I can continue to do well next year and get back to the same spot or better. I haven't always had a job. When I had the option to play pool all the time I kind of took it forgranted. Boy do I wish I could have those days back!

Skunkboy...thanks, and yes, I was wearing shoes. I guess the WPBA is kind of like stores..no shirt, no shoes, no service..haha. My shoes were actually bright red, they just didn't show up well on tv. I was the one that said I had put up a mental block. Even though I had won big matches in the past I still didn't feel like I was at the same level or belonged. I think I'm over it now!

gpeezy...thank you and sorry for beating on you in Chattanooga. I hope you are doing well and staying out of trouble.

Thanks again,
Sarah

Thank you T and everyone else. I too was surprised at Gerda's kicking. She is genearally one of the best when it comes to that. I think she was just having an off match. I admit, she was not playing her best. I had many opportunities.

UGOTDA7...I didn't get a chance to say it was nice to meet you in Fayetteville..but it definitely was nice meeting and chatting with you and your wife.

smoooothstroke...thanks for the compliments and the final score was 7-3. Oh, and nothing is due...it was just the style of the shirt.

Roy...maybe it will replay on one of the channels you get or someone may upload it to youtube. Thanks for trying to watch it though!

poolplayer...thanks...I too wish there wasn't so much skipping around but I have to say it was pretty cool everything that they added to the show. But I was a little upset, I actually ran out a whole rack one or two of the games they cut out!

Thanks again everyone.
Sarah

Oh..sorry,I thought I heard you were pregnant, must of been another player

I think you are thinking of Pam Treadway/Cimirelli. She made the tv rounds at the US Open and was about 3 months or so pregnant at the time.

Sarah.....GREAT JOB!!! We played in league at Cue Can Do a while back.

It is great to see how well you are playing. I was really impressed with your composure during the Gerda match.............I will watch the other tonight.

Your mechanics are very solid, every motion was fluid and consistent from shot to shot!!! That is the true mark of talent!

Mike

Hey Sarah,

Congratulations on the TV appearance. I finally had the pleasure of meeting you at Fayetteville briefely when I asked you to come on and do some commentating with Grady before your match was called. It's good to see you finally break through. Hope it's a sign of more to come!

Josh

Thank you Mike and Josh.

Mike, thanks for the compliments. I have to thank Mark Wilson for helping burn good fundamentals into my head from the beginning. It really helps when you are under pressure.

Josh, it was nice to meet you in Fayetteville as well. You guys did a great job covering that event and I hope you guys can keep up the good work!

Roy, I do have a website but it hasn't been updated in some time. I am looking to get it going and in updated order soon along with a blog. I just have to find someone that can do that kind of stuff. Anyway, even though it isn't 100% updated, it still looks pretty cool....http://www.sarahrousey9ball.com

I will be sure to set the DVR on Sun to catch your match. I was happy to see you do so well and I look for you to be in that position again soon. Happy Holidays to you, see you at the Derby.

Congrats on your determination to follow your dreams....=)
