First time I have seen him. He had a bad cold but did ok. He wanted to try again the next day, but only one entry allowed. I understand he is a pretty good player.

I'm watching this run right now Dennis & (like you) I've never seen Sascha play before either. Of all the videos you've posted so far, his is the most entertaining to watch. Determine options, make decision, shoot, repeat. No timidness. Not a huge number, but I love his pace...& he was sick?!?!? His energy was good!

I finished the video & I wish there was more. His body moved quite a bit on that last shot & it cost him a great run. He made a bad choice in that last rack and poof the run was over.

I scored his runs and liked his play. His English was not good. He had a heavy sweater on and I told him he better take it off because the sweater was coming close to fouling balls. It took him a while to figure out why I wanted him to take his clothes off. ;)

He actually wanted to compete again the next day and I had to tell him only one entry per person. The next time I saw him was at the doorway, late the last night with Ralf Souquet. I think it was after midnight and I think Sascha had probably talked Ralf into taking an attempt. We had to tell Ralf there were people waiting to play, we were closing at 1:00 and it was too late for him to enter and take 12 attempts.

Marop knows more about Sascha and when he wakes up, maybe he will chime in.

Now I see, Sascha had consumed all 12 attempts...I didn't get why he wasn't allowed to play again the next day before you made that comment. What was his high run for the 12 attempts? Surely it wasn't 55...

I was talking to Niels and he said a few years back Sascha played Ralf's speed. He has taken some time off and is just now starting to play again.

Yes, his high run was 55, he had a few more attempts that ended in the 30's and 40's I believe. Putting it into perspective Mika's high run in 12 attempts was 68, Max's was 65, Archer 71, Harriman 72 and Schmidt 73. As the player gets closer to that 12th attempt it appears that pressure to perform starts getting to them. With the exception of Schmidt and Runningen most all the high runs were done in the first few attempts. Darren's 183 was his first attempt of the 12. Niels 102 was his 2nd attempt, Corey's 125 was his 3rd attempt and Orcollo's 74 was his first attempt.
