Saturday: Semifinals of 2013 U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship

The format has been like it as long as I can remember. Everyone knows the rules going in.

:D Ain't that the truth.

That Niels sure breaks hard. Shane and Jayson were breaking softer, like about 17 or 18 mph. Niels' break looks like it's about 27 or 28 mph.

Thats for sure. It must be difficult losing in the hot-seat match, now your forced to play your next opponent who just won a match and riding a high and you just got beat and I'm sure not to happy about it, especially a good whipping.

Hopefully Jayson can regroup and get another shot at Shane.
 
Niels is so neat, with his white shirt tucked in, a nice black leather belt, black slacks. He looks unsure of himself at the table sometimes, though. Uses his cue to point at shots, as if he's trying to "see" an angle. Regardless, though, he is a handsome specimen of a man. I don't mind watching him shoot pool at all. :p

7-6, Niels climbs back. Van-Van favor.
 
Sorry about the botched double. Tapatalk changed their format about an hour ago and I have not figured it out yet. I can say the form is a lot easier to see and read especially the pictures.

I hope not, otherwise my prediction of Corteza and Shane in the finals won't be right :)

Of course, Van still needs to get by Neils and Shaw.
 
Oh, my, the score is 7-7. Niels breaks and studies the table, walks around it, looking for a shot.
 
Van-Van is so cute. I love his arm tattoos. He's so peaceful and calm. Niels looks like a nervous cat.
 
Niels studies too long, points his cue, walks around, looks, walks around, stands there, studies it. Sheesh! Think long, think wrong, Niels. :p
 
Niels is very indecisive. He just does not look comfortable. I guess he's more of a methodical kind of player. Before he shoots, he walks around the table a couple times. LOL

I am sure this tournament means a lot to him, though, so I shouldn't be criticizing. Heck, I couldn't even make a ball if it was me up there.

i surely does mean a lot to him. Lee Van and Dennis beat them in the finals of WCOP.
 
You know, I think it's a damn shame that people are talking loudly, while these two guys are playing their hearts out. People are walking by.

These two should have the same respect as Shane and Jayson did on the TV table.

Now I hear people racking balls. What is going on here?

I think they're walking further from the table than it seems because of the distance of the camera from the table. That, or it's dollar beer day.
