If it was all heavy chips, yes. But if you are using a dust collector and getting fine stuff, I can't see people wanting it if they knew how unhealthy it could be. Throw some coco dust in, then some padauk, and who knows what else, then start breathing that fine dust cloud when you start spreading it or doing whatever someone would do with it.

I use my Maple dust in my garden. It loosens the soil & makes it easier to work. It also holds moisture in the ground. The way I do it is to mound it around my tomatoe & pepper plants, as a mulch. Then in the fall, I till it in to the soil. WARNING... If you use wood shavings or dust in the garden, you have to add EXTRA nitrogin, because the wood pulls nitrogin out of the soil. I read this along time ago, so I add nitrogin & manure to the soil each spring. You should see my tomatos, yummy...JER

I had a guy ask me what I did with the chips.. I said in the dumpster. Will you give me any? Sure but only if you are not planning on using them by animals or food? Guy tells me I am full of sheet. Next day he calls me and says man what kind of wood was in there? Ebony, Cocobolo, maple, bubinga, bloodwood, wenge... why.. I feel like crap. I said hu you didn't listen to what I said huh? Nope spead it all over the yard no mask. I said you got what you deserve.. Ignorance is bliss I guess...
