I just read this news item.

What it means is that I hope everyone got a opportunity at some time to view, what had to be, one of the funniest, most creative posts ever on this forum. I refer of course to DerekDisco's great send up, "The Jay Helfert Movie".
I tried to bring it up on YouTube, and yes, it is gone. Nazi's apparently have no sense of humor.
If you didn't see it you missed a winner.

That's like saying the Mona Lisa is gone. Where did they go, Dammit.
 
So can we re-upload it to vimeo or something, where the uptight guys at the MPIAA won't get their hello kitty panties in a bunch? I loved that video. I almost saved it but foolishly assumed it'd be there forever.

That movie slayed me. Absolutely brilliant!

I am sure hoping someone thought to archive it somewhere so we can access it into the future.

I truly don't understand. Help me out here. Why is it gone ? Who
got rid of it? Can we retaliate or boycott or something? I want to know who the M/F's are so I can fix my sights. Bill O'Reilly gotta hear about this.
