Well, you probably should get a ban for the above. It's waaay out of line based on your perspective which includes a complete lack of knowledge and misstatements. You aren't even close to being on the right track.

This is the final thing I'm going to say, IT WILL ALL BE CLEARED UP WHEN ALL OF IT HITS THE RELEASE DATE STILL YET TO BE DETERMINED.

I suggest you say NO MORE at this time or between the time of release. I won't report this one NOW, but might later to go along with anything else you add to it that's untrue and off the mark.

Interesting how you can dish it out, calling "BS" on everything you don't agree with from guys like Brian, but when your sacred cow is questioned you can't handle it. I haven't said anything that can't be documented from past posts just like Brian did when he proved you wrong.

I'm happy to let it drop here but if you bring up how great the book is again some of us might actually ask some questions.

I suggest you stop acting like there is another moderator in this forum. If you think I am out of line then report me. The mods don't like people who try to take over their job any more than the people who are being reported.

Screw you! THIS IS THE AIMING FORUM! THE BOOK IS ABOUT AIMING! I have some early inside information on the book and I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAY IT IS GOING TO BE GREAT! I don't know enough to answer your questions. Although your "questions" are nothing more than a word used out of place for "ATTACKS."

When it comes to books, consumer opinion provides the best indication of whether or not the book is worth buying. If you go to Amazon to shop for a book, you're likely not to purchase one that has a 2-star rating with a dozen or more bad reviews.

Overall public opinion provides a good indication of whether or not a book (or any product) is considered "good" or "bad". The CTE Pro1 book will be whatever the consumers/users say it is. And there will always be a sprinkling of negativity on any good product. You can't please the unpleasable.

For example, my book has received a 2-star rating from a guy because, in his opinion, "the book is worthless cause it's all about practice practice practice." I suppose he thought he was buying a book of magic pool-shooting spells. Lol. Another reviewer said "it's really not practical to employ the concepts described in real life." He's entitled to his opinion, as is the other guy, despite the fact that thousands of pool players have found the concepts very practical and simple to apply, and the vast majority of reviews are very positive.

When you read reviews for a product, there will always be someone complaining about something, but the overall opinion (when considering all the reviews) provides the most accurate indication of whether or not the product is "good" or "bad". Stan's CTE Pro1 book might be excellent, but he won't be putting it out there for public scrutiny or overall review. So the only way a consumer will be able to determine if it's good is to blindly purchase it. I doubt any honest reviews would be posted here on AZ for fear of being banned, or fear of being labeled a CTE disciple or CTE hater. And that's a shame.

That's what I mean.....here on AZ, for any member that has questioned CTE over the years, their review would be attacked by CTE users if it were remotely negative. Just as any positive review from a known CTE member would be seen as cheerleading by those who have questioned CTE or have been somewhat skeptical of it. It would be impossible to judge whether or not the book woukd be worth buying for yourself. You'd just have to go for it, or not.

Hey Brian, your post should have sound to it. Like being in a casino when a slot machine goes off with the bells ringing, lights flashing, a kazoo blowing when 3 or 4 of a kind comes up and wins the mega jackpot.

From the sneak preview I've seen kindly provided by Stan, this is going to be A GREAT BOOK ON CTE and so is the training aid.

But you're right on the money. There have been even GREATER books written like the BIBLE. The CONSTITUTION of the United States wasn't a book but it was a GREAT creation.

The Bible has gotten blasted for centuries and the Constitution has also for over 200 years.

Should we be naïve to think it's not going to happen here or elsewhere? I KNOW it's going to occur here and it will be by the SAME INDIVIDUALS who started it 20+ years ago as well as the current crop of negative followers.

It doesn't matter whether every question or explanation is perfectly answered with pictures and video laying it out in great detail. The same cast of characters will vilify it.

The good part is this forum is a miniscule base of all the pool players throughout the world who will learn about the book, buy it, and learn how to use CTE. Many would like to think AZB is the world of pool, but it's not. Many players don't even know it exists nor do they want to waste their time jabbering and bickering even if they do.

The sad part such as the reviews on Travel websites where you have one great review after another is the ONE negative review saying a particular motel had bedbugs and they got bitten is the review that sticks in a person's mind and they look elsewhere.

Those types of reviews are also shills from other motels in the area making them as well as someone that constantly walks around with a hard on for the world. A few of them reside here in various forums. The NEGATIVE NELLIES also known as HATERS.

Very sad but true. Great books, great restaurants, great hotels, great golf courses, great bands in music, great vacation destinations, etc. it doesn't matter...there's going to be negative b*tching, crying, and whining about something.

You've been here for a little over a year and have no idea how this all started and by whom. It's been going on for over 20 years and the same ones here were the same ones then. It's absolutely sickening already so YES, we know what's coming and from whom.

Try being impartial yourself instead of on the attack with the negative crowd. I guess it's hard to do because they bought your loyalty with over the top praise for your fraction system yet none of them actually use it and you don't even use it most of the time if at all.

Very true. In fact, almost 99% of the millions of pool players in the world are NOT members here on AZ Billiards. It's a great place to learn, but as you said, many players don't even know it exists.

It is a sad fact that if a new member joins, after purchasing Stan's book, to let others know what he or she thinks about the book, the review will be overshadowed by years of bickering. If it's not a glowing review then the member will be cast into the "hater" category. If it's a good positive review then the member will be lumped in with the "cheerleader" side. But if a known CTE questioner, like Dan or myself, post a very positive review, it would surely have to be considered honest. Just as if you or Cookie were to happen to post a not-so-glowing review, that one would have to be considered honest as well.

This is the proper forum to discuss aiming. Part of discussing aiming, despite moderator "rulings", is to openly discuss and compare various ways of aiming. This is how people learn. If all I wanted to do was sell a book, then sure...I'd list one in the "For Sale" forum. But I don't personally sell my books. I don't have a garage or roomful of Poolology books that I have to sell in order to recoup any prepaid publishing costs.

Stan wrote here on AZ several times about creating THE TRUTH SERIES which will be posted on youtube, free of charge, so anyone can see them and then make a decision about buying the book.

He also wrote this on his FB profile on 19th of February:

ROTFLMAO! This is priceless, like the two of you are conjoined at the hip. No question where you're aligned and where your allegiance is.

Guess what? A positive review will NEVER happen nor do I think it would be honest because there would be an ulterior motive to give the impression of honesty and then follow it up with a sledge hammer and atomic bomb at a later date.

Then it could be followed up with, "Gee, we were very honest with one part which means we were honest about all of it because that's just the kind of great guys we are.
We certainly wouldn't be honest about one part and then lie about another or distort it."
